2 bedroom apartment with terrace

Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of apartments in Dubrovnik over the years, and this two-bedroom place really gets it right. When I first walked in, honestly, I was surprised by how much space there actually is – you know how these old town rentals can be pretty cramped, but this one breathes. The terrace is what sold me though. I mean, you’re not getting direct sea views or anything dramatic like that, but there’s something really nice about having your own outdoor space where you can actually sit with morning coffee without tourists walking by every five seconds.

The location is solid – you’re close enough to Stradun that you can walk to all the main stuff, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with cruise ship crowds right outside your door. I actually found myself using the terrace more than I expected, especially in the evenings when the day-trippers have cleared out and the city gets back to feeling like, well, a real place where people live. The apartment itself is pretty straightforward – nothing fancy, but everything works. The kitchen has what you need if you want to grab groceries from the market near Pile Gate (which, by the way, is way cheaper than eating out every meal). The bedrooms are decent sized, and the whole place stays surprisingly cool even in summer, which is huge if you’ve ever tried to sleep in Dubrovnik in July.

What I appreciated most was the little details that show someone actually cares about this place. There’s good water pressure in the shower – trust me, that’s not a given in these old buildings. The Wi-Fi actually works throughout the apartment, not just in one corner. And the check-in was refreshingly smooth, no standing around waiting for someone to show up with keys. The owner clearly knows what travelers need because there are adapters, extra towels, even some local recommendations that aren’t just the obvious tourist spots. Is it perfect? Well, the street can get a bit noisy on weekend nights, and the stairs up to the place might be tough if you have heavy luggage, but honestly, that’s just Dubrovnik for you. For the price point and the space you get, especially with that terrace, it’s a really solid choice. I’d definitely stay here again, and I’m pretty picky about these things.
