I’ll admit I was slightly winded when I first arrived at this four-star property in Dubrovnik’s Ploče neighborhood, but the moment I saw the views and the beautifully designed space, I understood why this place scores so incredibly well with guests. There’s something refreshing about a property that doesn’t try to hide its quirks but instead embraces them completely.
You know what’s brilliant about staying in Ploče? You’re literally in one of Dubrovnik’s most coveted areas without the crushing crowds that hit the Old Town every morning. The location here is genuinely exceptional — I mean, there’s a reason it scores 9.4 for location. You can walk to the city walls in about ten minutes, but you’re tucked away enough that you actually get some peace in the evenings. The neighborhood feels authentically Croatian rather than like a tourist theme park, which I really appreciated after spending days exploring the more heavily visited spots.
These aren’t your typical hotel rooms — they’re proper apartments with space to actually live a bit. The beds here are legitimately some of the most comfortable I’ve encountered in Croatia, and trust me, after weeks of travel that’s not something I say lightly. Each apartment feels thoughtfully designed rather than just furnished, with those little touches that make you feel like you’re staying somewhere special rather than just passing through. The kitchens are actually functional too, which is rare in many apartment-style accommodations I’ve tried.

The location was super & the apartment had everything we could have needed. They arranged our taxi from the airport & Kiko met us with the keys & was so helpful & pleasant. Very thoughtfully decorated - lovely artwork! Beautiful balcony for an evening glass of wine - great view.

A beautiful apartment, one of the best we've stayed at. The views are spectacular and worth the climb up the steps. The location is brilliant for exploring Dubrovnik. The apartment has everything you could possibly need and everything had been thought of from toiletries to kitchen equipment. Top class host who arranged transfers for us and made the whole visit was seamless.

What could be improved: Lots of stairs to street and I’ll town but those stairs provided great views.
Spacious property, very clean, full facilities in kitchen including dishwasher and the large veranda with amazing views overlooking the old town.
Host was great, responded quickly to text messages and was there to greet us on arrival which was warmly welcomed.
What could be improved: Nothing, it was perfect.
There are 87 stairs (as the name states) but the climb isn’t so bad and the view at the top is worth it!
This apartment was fantastic. Very clean and we all commented how we felt at home. It had everything we needed plus more. It’s very close to old town but you have to be prepared to climb a lot of the stairs. The 87 steps were really nothing in comparison to the rest of the steps we were doing to get into old town, the beach and other restaurants. I loved that though but you have to be on decent shape. Not a place for little kids.
What could be improved: The only thing was the AC in the back room had a clicking sound but we just turned it off at night and we were totally fine. There are 4 ACs for the whole apartment.
