It’s about a 15-minute walk to the old town (downhill going there, uphill coming back after a few glasses of wine, just saying), but you’re also steps away from that gorgeous stretch of beach at Lapad Bay. The apartment itself has this lived-in comfort that’s hard to fake – proper kitchen equipment that actually works, not those sad hotel kitchenettes, and windows that let in all that Mediterranean light without making the place feel like a fishbowl.

What really sets this place apart is the attention to detail that you don’t usually get at a 3-star property. The host clearly knows what travelers actually need – there’s decent wifi that doesn’t cut out every five minutes, the shower has proper water pressure (trust me, this matters after a day of climbing Dubrovnik’s stone steps), and the bed is genuinely comfortable, not just hotel-functional. The Lapad peninsula has this quieter vibe compared to the tourist chaos near Pile Gate, so you can actually sleep with the windows open and hear the sea instead of cruise ship announcements at 6 AM. It’s not trying to be some luxury resort experience, but it nails everything that actually matters when you’re using Dubrovnik as your base for exploring the coast. Plus, being away from the main tourist drag means you can experience a bit of real Croatian life – there’s something nice about buying fresh bread from the local bakery instead of paying hotel breakfast prices.   The few from the terrace is amazing, it is super clean, the location is great and the owners are extrem friendly!!
  The beach is super close and if you want to go to the old town the bus which you can find 3 minutes away from the apparment, takes you in 10 minutes to the town.

  We loved our stay here. The flat is fitted out with everything you need and has a grandstand view over the north of Dubrovnik from the incredible roof terrace. Listening to the church bells and watching the bats fly at sunset is magical. It’s easy to get into the Old Town via bus or Uber and Lapad Beach is just down the hill. Special thanks to the lovely hosts, who live downstairs and made us very welcome. We hope to return one day.
