This four-star property sits right in Ploče — honestly one of the best neighborhoods in Dubrovnik if you want to be close to everything without dealing with the Old Town crowds every single minute. The building itself has that understated Croatian charm, and you can tell from the moment you arrive that someone actually cares about this place.
Here’s what I love about the location — you’re literally a 10-minute walk from Dubrovnik’s famous city walls, but you’re not stuck in the tourist madness 24/7. Put od Bosanke is this quiet residential street where you can actually hear yourself think, yet you can easily stroll down to the harbor or catch a bus to other parts of the coast. I mean, there’s a reason this spot earned a 9.5 location score. You’ve got local cafes nearby where actual Dubrovnik residents grab their morning coffee, plus you’re close enough to Banje Beach that you can pop over for a swim without it being a whole production.
What sets Apartment Katinka apart is that it actually feels like staying in someone’s thoughtfully designed home rather than a sterile hotel room. The space is clean and modern without being cold — you know what I mean? There’s proper kitchen facilities if you want to grab some fresh seafood from the local market, plus the kind of comfortable seating where you can actually relax after a day of sightseeing. The attention to detail is what gets me — things like good lighting, decent Wi-Fi that actually works, and windows that let in that gorgeous Croatian light.

What could be improved: The only downside was the soccer field right below the apartment. It was a little loud in the esrly evenings but it was vacated by 10 pm. But i woukd still stay here again!

A grand old apartment with excellent facilities. Lovely high ceilings, incredibly spacious and three bedrooms with en-suite. The balcony view is believable and the location unbeatable. Perfect.

The location was perfect, very close to the old town. The view from the balcony is fantastic.

The host was very helpful and responsive which was a great plus! The location is great - 5 minutes to the center, 10 minutes to the beach. There’s a big balcony overlooking the sea and city center. The apartament is specious and each bedroom has its own bathroom.
What could be improved: Overall it was clean, but there were places that looked like they haven’t been cleaned in a while.
The location is perfect (~5 min. walking distance from the city walls). And the shopping center is near. You just have to be prepaired to climb number of stairs :) Appartment is spacious. It was so convenient to have bathroom next to each bedroom! And the terrace with incredible view to Dubrovnik old town was perfect! Communication with Vlaho was very easy. We came late in the evening, and the host accepted us kindly. We are grateful to Vlaho for recommendations regarding places to visit (if you have time, it’s worth spending a day or a half in a Lokrum island). Vlaho helped us out with a parking in the neighbourhood - it was rather expensive, however worth it, taking into account it was close to the apartment.
What could be improved: It could be more tidy and clean!
The apartment (furniture, equipment and etc.) is outdated, full of old stuff.
Offboarding surprisingly was very early - we found a compromise with Vlaho to leave at 9:30, however I would expect it to be a bit later.
