You know what struck me first about Apartment Larissa? It’s tucked away on Svetog Križa, which honestly most tourists completely miss — and that’s actually a good thing. I mean, you’re still close enough to hear the distant hum of Old Town (maybe a 15-minute walk), but you’re not dealing with cruise ship crowds stumbling past your window at 7 AM.
The apartment itself feels like someone’s actual home, not some sterile hotel setup. The owner clearly put thought into the little things — there’s decent coffee in the kitchen (thank god, because Croatian hotel coffee can be… well, let’s just say it’s not their strong suit), and the shower pressure is surprisingly solid. The 4-star rating feels about right; it’s comfortable and clean without being fancy. I’d probably give it that 7.7 rating too, honestly. The Wi-Fi actually works, which sounds basic but you’d be surprised how many places in Dubrovnik still struggle with that.
What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night. Svetog Križa isn’t one of those party streets, so you can actually sleep with the windows open and catch that Mediterranean breeze. During the day, there’s this little bakery about two blocks down — locals line up there around 8 AM, and if you time it right, you’ll get bread that’s still warm. The apartment’s location means you’re living more like a resident than a tourist, which I loved. There’s a small Konzum grocery store nearby (nothing fancy, but it has everything you need), and the bus stop that connects to Pile Gate is maybe a 5-minute walk.
The check-in was smooth — no drama, no waiting around. The host speaks decent English and actually gave me useful tips about avoiding the crowds at the city walls (go right when they open at 8, or after 5 PM). The apartment sleeps about four people comfortably, and there’s enough space that you’re not constantly bumping into each other. The balcony isn’t huge, but it’s perfect for morning coffee or evening wine — you can see a slice of the Adriatic if you crane your neck just right.
Look, it’s not going to blow your mind with luxury, but that’s not really the point. If you want to experience Dubrovnik without feeling like you’re staying in a tourist bubble, this works really well. The price is reasonable for what you get, especially considering how expensive everything in the Old Town has become. Just be prepared for a bit of a walk if you’re planning to hit the main sights multiple times a day — though honestly, that walk through the residential neighborhoods gives you a much better feel for how people actually live here.

Apartamento muy lindo, completo (aunque no pudimos hacer funcionar uno de los 2 acondicionadores de aire). A metros del puerto de Gruz para ir a Kolocep y Lopud en ferry. A pocas paradas en bus de la ciudad amurallada.
The apartment is placed very close to Flixbus station and ferry port. We've planned to visit Korcula so it was perfect place to get the ferry. Also they have a lovely kitchen, then we enjoyed making food by ourselves! We'll definitely choose here again if we have a chance to visit there!
What could be improved: Location was not as close or as easy to reach by walking as was implied .

Bus service great but had a walk to reach it
The place was good and really close to the bus stop, restaurants and the Dubrovnik port. Good facilities in the apartment which meant we were able to cater for ourselves on food. There were extra linens and pillows that were really helpful in making my little one comfortable. The sofa bed was comfortable and allowed us to sleep comfortably even without the cot requested. Overall, the place is what’s in the photos. Clean and tidy! Pero was also very helpful in picking us up when we got lost! Excellent customer service!
What could be improved: As we had a stroller and big luggage with us, the place is on a steep hill. Walking up to get to the place is a real workout especially with a toddler in the pram. There are steps going into the property so not very accessible if you’re in a wheelchair.
Also, suggest to provide a clean sponge for washing the dishes and hairdryer.
Really nice apartment in a super handy location, around 400m from the ferry port and 800m from the bus station. Two supermarkets not far away if you want to be self-sufficient, loads of fantastic restaurants within short walking distance if you want to eat out. Would recommend and would stay here again
What could be improved: A very small comment, being on the ground floor means the view of the port involves peering over tree tops. It's a nice view all the same, but somewhere higher up would be better if that's something you want.
The apartment was in a great location and exceptionally clean. Facilities were also very good.

Struttura curata e accogliente perfetta per ospitare una coppia. Abbiamo trovato tutto il necessario per la cucina, per il bagno ecc.
Il mare non è raggiungibile a piedi se non con una lunga passeggiata. Tuttavia la posizione è buona e la zona è tranquilla. È vicino al porto e ci sono fermate del bus che in 5 minuti ti portano in centro.
El apartamento es muy cómodo, limpio y tiene todo lo que se necesita para una estadía (una lavadora de ropa sería muy deseable). Está ubicado cerca al muelle de los ferries y la estación del bus. Hay buenos restaurantes y mercados a 5 minutos caminando. Está a unos 3 kilometros del centro de Dubrovnik, nosotros caminamos un día y el otro día tomamos el servicio de bus que es bastante cómodo y pasa frecuentemente. El anfitrión atendió oportunamente todos los mensajes, nos dio recomendaciones y fue muy amable y nos recibió las maletas antes de tiempo para poder.
Location was good, an easy walk (down the hill) to Gruz Docks and the buses/taxis/shops. Room was great, would have gone for upper floors ( great views)if we had known there was a reliable lift. Property manager (non resident) a great help on the phone. Thanks
What could be improved: No instruction with what to do with rubbish? We felt bad just leaving bags!
