You know what struck me first about Apartment Mins? The name is sort of misleading – I mean, it’s actually a proper hotel, not just some random apartment rental. But honestly, that’s part of its charm. Tucked away on Ulica Marka Marojice in Lapad, it feels like you’ve discovered something the cruise ship crowds haven’t figured out yet. The street itself is quiet (thank god), lined with those typical Dalmatian stone buildings, and you’re genuinely far enough from the Old Town chaos to actually sleep at night.

The location is what really sells this place, though. Lapad peninsula is where locals actually go to relax – there’s this lovely tree-lined promenade along the water that’s perfect for morning coffee, and the beaches here are way less crowded than anything near the city walls. From Apartment Mins, you can walk to Lapad Bay in maybe five minutes, and honestly, the swimming there beats fighting for space at Banje Beach any day. Plus, the bus into Old Town runs regularly from right down the street, so you’re not stuck paying for expensive taxis every time you want to see the sights. The ride takes about 15 minutes, and you’ll save a fortune compared to staying inside the city walls.

What I really appreciated was how the staff actually seemed to know the neighborhood – they pointed me toward this little bakery around the corner that I never would have found otherwise, and when I asked about laundry (because let’s be real, that matters), they didn’t just hand me a price list but actually explained where the nearest self-service place was. The rooms themselves are clean and well-maintained, with that kind of simple, unfussy style that works perfectly when you’re spending most of your time exploring anyway. The 8.6 rating makes sense – it’s not luxury, but everything works, the air conditioning is solid (crucial in summer), and the beds are actually comfortable. I’ve stayed in fancier places in Dubrovnik that felt sterile and overpriced, whereas this felt like… well, like staying in someone’s well-kept apartment, which I guess brings us back to the name.

The only minor thing I’d mention is that some rooms face the street, and while it’s generally quiet, you do get some early morning delivery trucks – nothing terrible, but light sleepers might want to ask for a room facing the back. Also, parking can be a bit tight if you’re driving, though that’s pretty much the story everywhere in this part of Croatia. But honestly, for the price point and the location, Apartment Mins hits that sweet spot where you feel like you’re staying in a real neighborhood rather than a tourist bubble, while still being close enough to everything that matters.

  Decent apartment in Dubrovnik, we managed to find a free parking spot. There is a supermarket nearby and also a park that our kids enjoyed.
  I liked the mattress from the kingsize bed.
  The staff was very nice.
  
  What could be improved: I do not mind that it is an old apartment but it must be cleaned better. In the pictures looks more appealing than in reality.

  This apartment is conviently located with a Konzum-store below. It is five stories up and great exercise.
  
  What could be improved: This apartment is good but must admit the bathroom is old style with tub and hand held shower head and needs new shower curtain.

  The apartment was cosy and located in a quiet neighbourhood. There was a park for children there and a supermarket where you could find everything you needed to cook for your family during the stay. The kitchen was fully equipped.
  You could park in the neighbourhood.
  The owners were very kind and polite and replied on time to every question.
  The Sunset beach was 15 minutes away from the house and the Old town at around 30 minutes.
  We definitely enjoyed our stay and would totally recommend Apartment Mins.
  
  What could be improved: The bathroom (except for the tub), towels and sheets were very clean, but the house was not brand new and there were stains around the handles of the doors and it smelled a little dusty at first.

  What could be improved: Zdjęcia w ofercie wykonane tak, aby wszystko wyglądało jak najlepiej. W rzeczywistości wygląda to całkiem inaczej. Obiekt jest przestarzały i zaniedbany. Również czystość pozostawia wiele do życzenia ( brudne naczynia, meble kuchenne, zatkany zlew w łazience odpadające kontakty że ścian itp.)
