The apartment itself is honestly one of those places that makes you wonder why you ever stay in regular hotels. What really got me was the little terrace – it’s nothing fancy, but you can sit out there with your morning coffee and watch the neighborhood wake up. There’s this old guy who walks his tiny dog past at exactly 7:30 every morning, and somehow that became part of my routine.

Location-wise, you’re about a 15-minute walk to Lapad Beach, which is perfect because it’s the kind of beach where locals actually go swimming instead of just taking selfies. The Old Town is maybe 20 minutes by bus – and honestly, after spending all day dodging tour groups in Dubrovnik’s historic center, coming back to this quiet street feels like a small miracle. There’s a little market around the corner where the woman behind the counter started recognizing me after two days, and a café called something I can’t pronounce where they make the kind of coffee that ruins Starbucks for you forever. The 96 bus stops right at the end of the street, which I only figured out on day three (why don’t they make these things more obvious?), and it connects you to pretty much everywhere you need to go. Parking is actually manageable here too – I saw guests coming and going without that panicked look people get when they’re driving in European city centers. The whole setup just works in a way that feels effortless, even though you know someone put real thought into making it that smooth.
