You know what struck me first about Apartment Moskar? It’s tucked away on this quiet residential street in Lapad – Brsečinska ulica – where you actually hear birds in the morning instead of tour buses rumbling past. I mean, when you’re staying in Dubrovnik, that’s honestly a small miracle. The building itself is one of those solid Croatian apartment blocks that doesn’t look like much from outside, but once you’re inside, you realize the owners have put real thought into making it work for travelers.

The location is actually perfect if you want to experience Dubrovnik without being trapped in the Old Town circus. Lapad peninsula has this residential vibe that feels authentic – you’ll walk past locals heading to work, small grocery stores where the staff remembers your face after two days, and that lovely tree-lined promenade that leads down to the beaches. The apartment is maybe a 15-minute bus ride to Pile Gate, but honestly, I found myself preferring the calmer rhythm of staying out here. There’s something to be said for having coffee on a quiet street before heading into the medieval madness of the old city walls.

What really impressed me – and I’m pretty picky about these things – is how well-maintained everything is. The 9.6 rating isn’t just people being nice; it’s because someone clearly cares about the details. The apartment had that clean, uncluttered feel without being sterile, and the kitchen actually had proper equipment (you know how apartment kitchens can be hit or miss). Parking was straightforward, which if you’ve ever tried to navigate Dubrovnik’s streets with a rental car, you’ll appreciate more than any fancy amenities. The wifi worked perfectly, the shower had good pressure, and the beds were comfortable – honestly, the basics done really well. Sure, it’s listed as three stars, but sometimes I think star ratings miss the point entirely. This place just works, and after a long day of climbing those stone steps in the Old Town, walking back to a quiet street where you can actually think clearly… well, that’s worth more than marble bathrooms and lobby chandeliers.

  The apartment was charming and clean, and all amenities were present. The location was great, with supermarket and bus stop being steps away and the beach about 20 minutes on foot.

  Bellissimo appartamento moderno con terrazza, pulito e con tutti i servizi presenti. Ottima la posizione, vicinissimo a supermercati e fermata dell'autobus per diverse direzioni. Molto soddisfatti del nostro soggiorno, ci ritorneremo volentieri. Consigliatissimo

  Très bon appartement, fonctionnel et idéalement situé. L'appartement est très propre et dispose d'une terrasse. Situé un peu en retrait de la route principale, il est dans un environnement calme. A environ 20min a pied de la vieille ville, et à côté d'un arrêt de bus permettant de s'y rendre en 5 min.
  Une supérette et une boulangerie sont situées à moins de 50m.
  Nous avons été très satisfait de notre séjour.
