You know what caught me off guard about Apartment Natasha? The location is actually perfect – and I mean that in the best possible way. It’s tucked away on Župska street in Ploče, which honestly sounds like nothing special until you realize you’re about a 10-minute walk from the Old Town walls but completely away from the tourist chaos. I stayed there last September and could actually sleep in without being woken up by cruise ship crowds shuffling past at 7 AM.

The apartment itself feels like staying at someone’s well-maintained family place rather than a sterile hotel room. Natasha (yes, there’s an actual Natasha) clearly knows what travelers need – the kitchen has proper coffee-making supplies, not just those sad instant packets, and there’s enough space to actually unpack your clothes. The bathroom’s small but functional, and honestly, the water pressure is better than half the four-star places I’ve stayed at along the Adriatic coast. What really impressed me was how quiet it gets at night. Ploče isn’t exactly sleepy, but you’re just removed enough from Stradun that you won’t hear every late-night reveler stumbling home.

Here’s the thing about the location that most people don’t realize until they’re there – you’re actually closer to some of Dubrovnik’s better spots than if you stayed right in the Old Town. The local market on Gruška is maybe five minutes away, and if you want proper Croatian food without the tourist markup, there’s this little konoba called Pantarul that locals actually go to (it’s about a seven-minute walk). The bus stop for getting to Lapad or the beaches is right there, and – this matters if you’re arriving with luggage – you can actually get a taxi to drop you pretty close to the door. Try doing that if you’re staying inside the city walls. The 9.4 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there; it’s not luxury, but it’s exactly what you want when you’re exploring Dubrovnik and need a comfortable base that doesn’t feel like a hotel assembly line.

  Apartment is in great location with beautiful view. Very comfortable, clean and spacious (especially living room area).
  Fully equipped kitchen was also a plus.
  
  Owner of apartment is really nice and provided lot of useful tips what to do and where to go in Dubrovnik.
  
  What could be improved: The service of renting company was terrible… until the day of arrival I wasn't sure if the booking is really valid since they didn't react to any of my text messages, messages on booking or emails. Fortunately the owner contacted me via WhatsApp at the date of arrival so I could accommodate. Otherwise my review would be much worse than 8 simply for their service..
  
  Regarding the apartment the only negative thing was bed, quite uncomfortable.

  Perfect location. Natasha is a very kind and helpful host. Apartment was clean and spacious, the bed comfortable, the kitchen practical. A shop is right below, parking just up the street. We really enjoyed our stay.

  The Location is great, there is a grocery store ´Studenač” just under the appartment – which is very comfortable. There is a fully equiped kitchen to prepare food or have a breakdast/dinner. The proximity of the beach (3min walk) makes the real added value to the appartment.
  
  What could be improved: Nothing. Natasha is great person to talk with, helpful and available always when needed (i lost the keys🙈 and she came and helped immediately…❤️

  Great location, there aren"t many stairs, which is rare in Dubrovnik, We liked the market , which was very close to apartment. We are traveling on a budget and we buy food to prepare dinner at this market, which was very comfortable. Natasha is a attentive and pleasant host

  Excelente localização. O apartamento fica a 10 minutos a pé do centro da cidade (onde toda a magia acontece 😊), com uma vista fantástica.
  Tem um supermercado mesmo por baixo do apartamento o que é excelente.
  A Natasha é uma pessoa fantástica com um sentido de hospitalidade fenomenal.
  Aconselho vivamente este alojamento a quem visitar Dubrovnik.
