Very clean and well equipped. Perfect location in Old Town area. Owner, was brilliant, she arranged transfers to and from airport, gave good advice on where to go and where to eat. Greeted us and made family welcome and even came to say goodbye when we left 👍👍👍

First Impressions
Walking through the ancient stone streets of Dubrovnik‘s Old Town to reach Apartment Swan – Dubrovnik Old Town honestly feels like stepping into a fairy tale — and that’s before you even see the place. This four-star apartment sits right on Ulica od Domina, which means you’re literally in the thick of everything that makes Dubrovnik magical. I mean, when a property scores 9.9 for location, you know they’re doing something right.
The Heart of Everything
You know what struck me most? You can roll out of bed and be at Rector’s Palace in about two minutes, maybe three if you stop for coffee. The Stradun — that’s the main pedestrian street everyone talks about — is practically your front yard. I’ve stayed in places that claim to be “centrally located,” but this is different. You’re not just near the Old Town; you’re woven into its fabric. The morning light hitting those limestone walls right outside your window? That’s your daily wake-up call, and honestly, it never gets old.
The Space Itself
The apartment itself strikes that perfect balance between historic charm and modern comfort that’s surprisingly hard to find in Dubrovnik. You’ve got everything you need in the kitchen — and I actually used it, which says something about how well-equipped it is. The room feels spacious despite being tucked into these medieval walls, and there’s something really special about falling asleep to the sound of footsteps on ancient stone streets below. The 9.5 rating makes complete sense once you’re inside — it’s clear someone put real thought into making this place work for travelers.
Living Like a Local
Here’s what I loved most: you’re not just visiting Dubrovnik, you’re living in it. The morning fish market is a five-minute walk, and you’ll find yourself picking up fresh produce and actually cooking instead of eating every meal out (though honestly, with places like Proto and Nautika so close, you might be tempted). The evening ritual of locals gathering for drinks along the city walls becomes your evening ritual too. And when the day-trip crowds head back to their cruise ships around 5 PM? That’s when the real Dubrovnik emerges, and you’re right there to experience it.
Why Guests Love It
Couples especially seem to fall for this place — and I get it completely. There’s something undeniably romantic about having your own little corner of this UNESCO World Heritage site. You can watch the sunset from the city walls, grab dinner at a tucked-away konoba, and be back home in minutes without dealing with taxis or long walks. The combination of that perfect location score and the thoughtful apartment setup creates exactly what you want from a Dubrovnik stay: total immersion without sacrificing comfort. It’s the kind of place that makes you start planning your return visit before you’ve even checked out.

What Our Guests Say
The house is beautiful, clean and modern, located near several beaches, in Dubrovnik old town.
The owner is very kind and helpful, she help us with everything, We highly recommend this house for a trip to Dubrovnik
Superb location in a quiet courtyard, well equipped, clean and elegant apartment. Warm and very helpful host
What could be improved: Slightly inconvenient bathroom position
Amazing property, like a home from home. Very convenient location, and the little extra touches made us feel very welcome!
Owner was beyond wonderful we all truly enjoyed our stay there. Highly recommend great location and very comfortable.
Great location, great facilities, very clean, lovely
and extremely accommodating host. We had a great stay!
What could be improved: Bathroom access was a little awkward as you can only access through two of the bedrooms, but we worked around it!
Great location in the centre of Dubrovnik Old Town. Dagmar was extremely welcoming and helpful with ideas of where to go and what to do. She was very quick to respond to any query. The apartment was well equipped with all that you needed. Aircon in the lounge area was much appreciated. The beds were a good size and comfortable and all the rooms were a good size. The kitchen was well equipped and it was nice to have some local cakes on arrival. Located right next to a wine bar which is worth a visit. Good Wifi.
What could be improved: It would have been nice to have an extra toilet and aircon in the bedrooms
Great location near the Pile gate & many restaurants/ bars. Not too many stairs to the apartment. Having a washing machine was a bonus as we were at the end of our holiday. The apartment has a leafy outlook and views to the City Walls. Also attached to a delightful wine bar.
What could be improved: The hot water switch looks like a light switch. So we accidentally turned it off without knowing. Better signage so others don’t make the same mistake.
Rooms were lovely and spacious and the apartment was very well equipped with lots of effort made to provide more than the essentials to ensure a comfortable and easy stay. We were able to drop bags off early(where Dagmar the host even helped us clean up a spill that had happened in our luggage) and check out late which allowed us to make the most of our time in beautiful Dubrovnik.
The location is great, with plenty of restaurants nearby and only one flight of stairs to encounter, whilst many other side streets locations have significantly more.
What could be improved: Only downside was that whilst clean up to date , the bathroom was situated with doors coming off two of the bedrooms so not ideal if travelling with other adults rather than family. Shower was also over the bath and whilst working well, might be difficult for some people to access.
Great location and very well maintained property.
Lots of lovely extras too like fresh fruit and homemade muffins.
What could be improved: No complaints from me
