Here’s what I love about this spot — you’re actually in one of Dubrovnik’s most coveted areas without paying Old Town prices. Ploče is where locals go when they want to escape the cruise ship crowds, but you’re still just a pleasant walk from all the main attractions. I mean, you can reach the city walls in about ten minutes, but when you come back in the evening, you’re in this peaceful residential area where you can actually hear yourself think. The location score of 8.1 makes total sense once you experience it — it’s that sweet spot between accessibility and tranquility.

What Makes It Special

Vedrana (the owner) has created something really thoughtful here. The space feels lived-in but carefully maintained — you know, like staying in someone’s well-loved home rather than a sterile hotel room. What struck me most was how everything just works without being flashy. The kitchen has everything you actually need (not just the basics), and honestly, after days of restaurant meals, being able to make coffee exactly how you like it in the morning feels like a small luxury. Walking around Ploče in the mornings became one of my favorite parts of staying here.
