Look, I’ve stayed in plenty of places around Dubrovnik, and Apartment Zoric in Komolac is honestly one of those finds that makes you feel like you’ve cracked some local code. It’s about 15 minutes from the Old Town – far enough that you’re not dealing with the cruise ship chaos, but close enough that you can still hear the distant hum of the city when the wind’s right. The thing is, Komolac feels like actual Croatia, you know? Kids playing football in the street, neighbors chatting over garden fences, that sort of authentic slice of life that most tourists never see.

The apartment itself is… well, it’s exactly what you’d want after spending a day wandering Dubrovnik’s marble streets. Clean, comfortable, with that kind of thoughtful setup that tells you the owners actually care about their guests. The kitchen’s properly equipped – I mean, you can actually cook a real meal here, not just heat up instant noodles. There’s decent Wi-Fi (tested it extensively, naturally), and the air conditioning works like a dream, which honestly becomes crucial during those sweltering July afternoons when even the locals disappear indoors. What really got me was the attention to small details – good shower pressure, blackout curtains that actually block light, and none of that scratchy hotel bedding nonsense.

Here’s what I wish someone had told me before I booked: parking is straightforward (huge plus in this part of the world), and you’re walking distance to a little konoba that serves the best pašticada I’ve had outside of a Croatian grandmother’s kitchen. The bus into town runs regularly, though I’d recommend getting a day pass rather than paying per ride – saves you a few kuna and the hassle of exact change. The 9.6 rating makes sense once you’ve been there; it’s not trying to be some fancy resort, but it nails everything that actually matters when you’re traveling. You’ll sleep well, you’ll have space to spread out, and you’ll probably find yourself planning your next Dubrovnik trip before you’ve even left.

  From arrival to departure, you receive assistance with everything you need. Also, the apartment is of a high standard in a quiet location and close to the Marina,supermarket and other attractions.

  Newer building with the apartment on the ground floor and the parking space(s) right next to the balcony. Very clean and well equipped. 15-20 min to old town Dubrovnik, 2 minute walk to a couple of stores to buy the necessary stuff.

  The apartment was big and nice, clean, big balcony with table and 4 chairs and a private parking space and everything was present in the apartment. At 100 meters distance you have 2 supermarkets and the bus stop to go to the old town. The apartment is a few kilometers from the old town but for € 2.50 p.p. single ride the city bus 1A or 1 B takes you to the entrance of the old town. We found this apartment highly recommended.

  Very nice and clean apartment, there is everything you might need. It's a bit far from the old town but there is a bus stop very close so it's not a problem. We can definitely recommend it!

  The apartment looks new, very clean, spacious and cozy.
  It has a fully equipped kitchen with all kinds of kitchen appliances, crockery, cutlery.
  The host has prepared a bottle of sparkling wine, a bottle of mineral water and a packet of juice in the fridge as welcome drinks for us.
  The beds are very comfortable. However there are no aircon in the 2 bedrooms. The only aircon is in the living room. This is the downside as we have to keep the bedroom doors open when we sleep so as to get some aircon from the living room as it is very warm at night.
  There is a washing machine in the bathroom which is very nice as we could wash our clothes since we stayed for a couple of nights. It would be nicer if there is a dryer as well.
  Overall, it was a great experience!
  
  What could be improved: There are no aircons in the 2 bedrooms and there is no dryer for the laundry.

  Nice and clean apartment with all facilities. It is a bit far from the center but there is a bus stop very close by. Taxi to Dubrovnik city is also not expensive. The host shared all the information with pictures and videos to reach the location.

  The apartment was very comfortable. I did a roadtrip from Zagreb to Dubrovnik and throughout my trip I stayed in a number of departments, all in the same price range. Zoric was the most comfortable one: It is spacious, the kitchen appliances seem very new, the TV is big and fantastic to relax after a day of sightseeing, there's a supermarket 200m away. Super recommendable
  
  What could be improved: It is rather far from the old town, but there's a bus that takes you right to the old town and the frequency is every 20min. And the bus is covered by the dubrovnik city pass, so it's very easy to compensate
