First Impressions
When I first walked into Apartments Adriatic Oasis & Marine View, I honestly wasn’t expecting much from what looked like a typical residential building on Ante Starčevića street. But you know what? Sometimes the best places hide in plain sight. This five-star property sits quietly in Dubrovnik‘s residential area, and the moment you step inside, you realize you’ve found something special. The luxury here isn’t flashy — it’s thoughtful, with that kind of understated elegance that makes you feel like you’re staying in a well-appointed private residence rather than a hotel.
The Perfect Dubrovnik Base
Here’s what I love about the location — you’re actually living like a local while being close enough to everything that matters. The Old Town is easily walkable (maybe 10-15 minutes), but you’re tucked away from the cruise ship crowds that can make the historic center feel overwhelming during peak hours. I mean, there’s something to be said for having parking included when you’re in Dubrovnik — trust me, that’s worth its weight in gold here. The neighborhood has that authentic Croatian feel, with small cafes and local shops that most tourists never discover.
Spacious Luxury Living
The apartment I stayed in felt more like a high-end vacation rental than a traditional hotel room. Everything’s been designed with genuine comfort in mind — the furniture is quality, not just pretty, and there’s actual space to spread out your belongings. The marine views they promise? Well, they deliver on that front. From my window, I could see glimpses of the Adriatic between the buildings, which honestly made my morning coffee routine something I looked forward to. The kitchen setup is practical too, not just for show — I actually used it to prepare simple meals with ingredients from the local market.
Thoughtful Details
What sets this place apart are the little things that show someone actually thought about what travelers need. The air conditioning works properly (crucial in summer), the WiFi is reliable throughout the space, and the beds are genuinely comfortable — not just firm mattresses masquerading as luxury. I noticed they’ve invested in quality linens and towels, the kind that feel substantial rather than hotel-thin. The bathrooms have that spa-like quality without being overly designed, and there’s actually enough counter space for your toiletries.
Why Guests Love It
After spending several days here, I get why couples rate this place so highly — it strikes that perfect balance between privacy and accessibility. You’re not dealing with crowded hotel lobbies or fighting for elevator space, but you’re also not isolated from Dubrovnik’s attractions. The 9.4 rating makes complete sense when you experience the combination of space, location, and genuine luxury touches. It’s the kind of place where you can actually relax and recharge between exploring the city, rather than just crash for the night. For anyone wanting to experience Dubrovnik with a bit more breathing room and authentic local flavor, this is exactly what you’re looking for.

What Our Guests Say
The apartment was clean, beautiful and near to everything,
clean, convenient location, well-equipped and new apartment. Parking garage is available.
What could be improved: none
The location was perfect with easy routes to both the old town and also the other side of Dubrovnik where there was great swimming, restaurants and bars! The host was very helpful and all communication was prompt.
What could be improved: Everything was good
It is very well furnished, to the standard of a 5 star hotel. The building is quite clean and is very close to the bus station where you can get a bus to the airport and to the old town (5-10 mins). There’s also quite a few supermarkets located in the area as well as a bakery. Would definitely recommend
Great location - 10 minute uber to old town & nice bakery close by. Close to the harbour and easy access for boat trips. Very clean and safe location. Great to have a washing machine and some detergent.
What could be improved: Nothing - we loved it.
Host was great and helpful
The host met us at the apartment having organised a transfer from the airport; he ran us through some basic information concerning the apartment and the area. Every part of the apartment was exceptionally clean. The location is good, being a couple of minutes walk to the harbour and there being several bakeries, general stores and restaurants also close by. There is a bus stop just a few metres from the apartment and there is also a bus ticket kiosk at the bus stop, which made travel either to the old town of Dubrovnik (c.10-mins) or to the Babin Kuk peninsula (also about 10-mins) both easy and cheap. Buses are pretty frequent too and run late into the night. The apartment is spacious for two and the balcony is a decent size for both guests to relax and watch the activity in the new harbour (albeit from a little bit of a distance). The beds are comfortable and the equipment all worked pretty reliably. The air conditioning units failed a couple of times; however, the host was responsive and engineers were deployed both times. The units don't seem to have failed as a result of neglect and appeared to be clean and well maintained, so I don't see this as a negative point, just an unfortunate technical 'glitch'. Communication with the host both in advance of and during our stay has been very good.
What could be improved: The absence of little gestures such as a few tea bags, sugar, coffee or a bottle of water on our arrival was slightly disappointing; after a journey of over 1,000 miles, being able to have a drink before having to head out again to find a shop would have been appreciated and, to be honest, is the least that we have found in the dozens of apartments we've previously rented around Europe. Similarly, being provided with no bin bags for the pedal bins was a bit of an inconvenience.
A wonderfully clean and comfortable apartment. The facilities were great and all worked well. Above all the air conditioning was an absolute blessing.
Checking in was made in easy by Samed who sat down with us and gave us some nice ideas to explore the city.
Great location and friendly and helpful hosts.
What could be improved: Identification of bins outside apartments.
