The name honestly sounds a bit cheesy, but this place is actually a hidden gem tucked away on Frana Supila street in Ploče – and I mean that in the best possible way. When I first walked up, I was expecting your typical tourist trap, but the building has this authentic Croatian charm that you just can’t fake. The apartments are spread across what looks like a converted local house, and there’s something refreshingly real about staying somewhere that doesn’t scream “hotel chain.”
The location is where this place really shines, though most people won’t realize it until they’re actually there. Ploče is this perfect sweet spot – you’re literally a 10-minute walk from the old town walls, but you’re not dealing with the chaos of staying right in the thick of things. I mean, you can still hear the distant hum of tourists during peak season, but it’s more like background noise than the full circus. The street itself is pretty quiet, especially in the evenings, which honestly surprised me given how close you are to everything. There’s a small grocery store about two blocks down that the locals actually use (not just a tourist markup place), and the bus connections to the main parts of Dubrovnik are ridiculously easy – the stop is practically around the corner.
What really sold me on this place was the attention to detail that you only notice when you’re actually living there for a few days. The apartments have these little touches that make them feel like actual homes rather than sterile hotel rooms. The kitchenettes are properly equipped – I’m talking real knives and decent cookware, not the usual plastic nonsense. The Wi-Fi actually works consistently (trust me, this matters more than you think when you’re trying to upload those sunset photos from the city walls). The beds are comfortable without being too soft, and the air conditioning doesn’t sound like a helicopter landing on your roof. Parking can be a bit tricky during summer months – there’s street parking but it fills up fast, so I’d recommend asking about it when you book. The check-in process was surprisingly smooth; the staff clearly know the area well and gave me some genuinely useful tips about avoiding the cruise ship crowds (apparently Tuesday mornings are golden for walking the walls). With a 9.1 rating, you’re definitely getting more than what you’d expect from a 3-star place – it’s one of those spots where the rating system just doesn’t capture the full experience.

Superb The large private terrass was great with amazing view. Great location with beaches close to the apartment (many stairs) and walking distance to Old town.
What could be improved: We slept with open window and the traffic could be a problem for some.

Enjoyed our stay this bright, cozy a d comfortable apartment featuring a private balcony with breathtaking views of Lokrum Island and the sparkling Adriatic Sea. Perfectly located just an 8–10 minute walk from Dubrovnik’s historic Old Town,peaceful surroundings with easy access to all major attractions, restaurants, and beaches.

Beautiful view, great location Loved the Large, spacious patio as so many others have said in their reviews. Were witness to a huge storm which passed by us.
The bedrooms were also large and bright. We found it very warm some nights as no air conditioning in these rooms. The beds were comfortable. Some noise from the people talking above but didn’t last long or prevent us from sleeping.
The kitchen had some little extras, which were greatly appreciated. Loved the little jams. Could use a toaster though there is a grill.
The shower was a bit challenging but we managed it without problems

Superb The view from the terrace is absolutely spectacular. The apartment is spacious and very clean. Only a 10 minute walk from the old town.

exceed expectation We spent two happy nights here. When the landlord was very kind, he explained to us in detail how to use the equipment in the room, The room was very comfortable and quiet, and we could have a good sleep. It is also very easy to walk from the old town. There is a large balcony perfect for taking photos and possibly a clear view of the sea .My friends and I love it here and hope to have the opportunity to stay again
