Hotel Description
You know what? I almost walked right past Apartments Noa the first time I went looking for it on Ivana Mažuranića street. It’s one of those unassuming buildings that doesn’t scream “tourist accommodation” – which honestly turned out to be exactly what I loved about it. The location is actually pretty brilliant if you think about it. You’re close enough to the Old Town that you can walk there in about 15 minutes (downhill, thankfully), but far enough away that you’re not dealing with the cruise ship crowds stumbling around at all hours. The street itself is quiet, lined with those typical Dalmatian stone buildings, and there’s this little bakery just around the corner where locals grab their morning coffee – I mean, you’ll hear them chatting away in Croatian at 7 AM, which somehow feels more authentic than staying right in the touristy center.
The apartments themselves are surprisingly well-maintained for a 3-star place. I was expecting basic, and while it’s not luxury by any means, everything actually works properly – the AC keeps up with those brutal August afternoons, the wifi doesn’t cut out every five minutes, and the kitchenette has enough space to prepare simple meals (which you’ll want to do, trust me, because eating out in Dubrovnik every night will drain your budget fast). The beds are comfortable enough, though the pillows are a bit on the firm side if that matters to you. What really impressed me was how clean everything was – you can tell someone actually cares about maintaining this place rather than just churning through bookings. The bathroom’s compact but functional, with decent water pressure, and there’s enough storage space that you don’t have to live out of your suitcase.
Here’s the thing that really makes this place work: the owner (or manager, I’m not entirely sure) is incredibly helpful without being overbearing. She gave me this hand-drawn map with shortcuts to the beach and pointed out which grocery stores stay open late – little details that booking sites never mention but make your stay so much easier. Parking can be tricky in this area, but there’s street parking nearby if you’re patient, and she knows exactly where to direct you. The 9.1 rating makes total sense once you stay here because it’s not trying to be something it’s not – it’s just solid, reliable accommodation that lets you experience Dubrovnik without the tourist markup. Plus, you’re positioned perfectly for day trips along the coast or those early morning walks to the city walls before the heat kicks in. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if you want to feel like you’re visiting a real neighborhood rather than just passing through a tourist bubble.

An incredible stay, highly recommend – Melissa from Australia – 25 June 2025 (10/10)
The apartment was so well equipped, beautiful location, gorgeous outlook and so quiet and comfortable at night time. You can tell the host really cares about giving a great experience, we have found that is something that is rare to find these days after staying in 22 airbnbs in the past 4 months. It was also great to have 3 bedrooms for our girls.

The location was perfect for us as it was a fairly short walk from the old town. There were a lot of stairs but that was not an issue for us. The view from the terrace is stunning and the garden was well kept.
The apartment was quite plain but very neat and had everything we needed and even a little extra.
The owner stays in another apartment on the property and she was so friendly and sweet although we didn’t share a language with her. The apartment manager Ivona took care of contacting us and checking us in and she was also so kind and helpful. We good and clear instructions from her from the very beginning. We also got to check in early.
All in all we had a very pleasant stay.
What could be improved: The only issue we faced was that the overhead lighting on our terrace was not working. There was a portable lantern though, which came in handy. There could have been a couple more of those since the nights got dark pretty early at this time of the year.Fantastic value and a great stay – Jennifer from Australia – 30 September 2024 (10/10)
Great location near the old town and gorgeous view. Garden was lovely and we ate fresh persimmons from the tree. Helpful information provided and apartment was very comfortable and spacious. Host was very responsive and helpful
Excellent – Emma from Australia – 23 September 2024 (9/10)
Apartment suited us perfectly! Very clean and well presented. Small kitchen/living space with cooking facilities if required. Nice area to sit outdoors. Easy to contact the host with enquiries and smooth check in process
What could be improved: Didn’t affect us but something to keep in mind- a lot of steps up to the apartment (a lot of steps in Dubrovnik old part in general) – most likely not suitable for elderly/ individuals with mobility issues !Great location to do all things in Dubrovnik. If parking in town I’d suggest prebook for best rate – Bronwyn from Canada – 21 September 2024 (8/10)
Easy direction on key pick up and drop off.
What could be improved: East walk into old town. Good view and lots of room.Look Noa Further… – Summersell from United Kingdom – 13 September 2024 (9/10)
Samed was a great host! We communicated on WhatsApp before our arrival and he kindly waited for us after our flight was delayed. The apartment was modern and clean with a nice terrace and lovely views. It was a short walk from the old town. The kitchen was really well equipped.
What could be improved: We could hear the people in the apartment loudly and the terrace is also shared with another apartment (although it is very spacious). Be prepared for a steep walk up steps from the old town!Perfect place to explore Dubrovnik – Jenny from United Kingdom – 29 August 2024 (10/10)
It was a good location, appropriately 10-15 minutes walk to the places in the old town. There is a bakery and supermarket a couple of minutes away and a hire car place a few minutes away. Jelica the host was great to communicate with and kindly let us drop off our bags and change clothes a few hours before official check in. The apartment was clean and well equipped. It was lovely to have washing up liquid, dishwasher liquid, laundry detergent available and some oil and balsamic for cooking. These things really make a difference when self catering. The beds were comfortable and the showers were amazing. We enjoyed relaxing on the terrace and seeing beautiful sunsets. The blackout shutters meant we slept well! The guest account on Netflix was a nice touch and the WiFi was good
What could be improved: We couldn’t find any faults
