Apartments Noa Old Town Overview

You know what struck me first about Apartments Noa? The address alone – Žudioska 11 – puts you right in the thick of things without being in the absolute chaos of Stradun. I mean, you’re literally a two-minute walk from the main drag, but somehow you escape most of the cruise ship crowds that flood the main street every morning around 9 AM.

The building itself has that beautiful Dubrovnik stone facade that photographs so well, though honestly, you’ll probably be too busy exploring to spend much time admiring the exterior. What really matters is inside – these aren’t your typical cramped European apartments. The ceilings are surprisingly high (a blessing during those sweltering July afternoons), and the windows actually open properly, which sounds basic but you’d be amazed how many places in the Old Town have those tiny medieval windows that barely let in air. The kitchenettes are functional enough if you want to grab groceries from the little market on Od Puča – though let’s be real, with all the incredible restaurants within walking distance, you probably won’t be cooking much. The Wi-Fi actually works well, which is crucial if you’re trying to upload those sunset photos from the city walls to Instagram.

Location-wise, it’s pretty perfect for exploring. You can stumble home from dinner at Proto or Nautika without worrying about finding a taxi, and you’re close enough to hear the morning bells from the Cathedral but far enough that they won’t wake you up unless you’re already a light sleeper. The narrow alley can get a bit echoey when people are coming home late – just something to keep in mind if you’re traveling with kids who need solid sleep. Parking is… well, it’s Dubrovnik Old Town, so forget about that entirely. You’ll want to use the public lots outside the walls and walk in. The 8.9 rating makes total sense once you’ve stayed here – it’s not luxury in the marble-and-champagne sense, but it nails what most travelers actually want: space, location, and character. The staff knows the area really well too, which comes in handy when you’re trying to figure out the best time to walk the walls (early morning or late afternoon, trust me on this) or which konoba serves the best peka without the tourist markup. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re living in Dubrovnik rather than just visiting it.

  • Thomas from Belgium – 7 March 2025 (9/10)

Perfect situation. Very good communication with the owner and warm welcome.
The studio is very comfortable and clean.

What could be improved: The shower is a bit small… but well, I'm tall 🙂

  • Natalie from United Kingdom – 26 November 2024 (9/10)

The location is excellent, its perfect for exploring Old Town and extremely quiet. The apartment was immaculately clean, with everything you would need for your stay. I would highly recommend to others, and would not hesitate to stay here again.

Great spot inside the old town.

What could be improved: Right above the main restaurant strip – felt a bit hassled at times.

    Location was spot on!

What could be improved: How many steps there are to get there!

  • Kay from United Kingdom – 23 September 2024 (8/10)

Apartment was self catered and well equipped so we could make breakfast and snacks. When we did have a couple of queries, the host, Daniela, was very helpful and quick to respond.
Very good location, close to the Main Street and lots of restaurants but still very quiet.

  • Alison from Australia – 16 September 2024 (9/10)

Easy to locate, wonderful communication with hosts. Accomodating, comfortable & clean.
    Loved it.

What could be improved: The climb up from the town Center was a challenge. Entry MUST be via Buza gate for a downhill run with luggage !

  • Robert from United States – 14 September 2024 (9/10)

    Ideal location. Nicely furnished. Quiet.

    What could be improved: Nothing

  • Daphne from United States – 25 August 2024 (9/10)

We loved everything about our stay. There are a lot of steps in Old Town so we were glad the apartment was just inside the gate. It was adorable, clean, modern and the host Daniela was awesome

What could be improved: Nothing. We loved everything.

  • Jacques from Canada – 10 August 2024 (9/10)

The location and all amenities were perfect. It was also very clean.

What could be improved: Stairs… but this is Old Town Dubrovnik. Nothing can be done about it. You need to deal with the stairs
