The building has that understated Croatian charm — not flashy, but you can tell someone actually cares about the place. What really caught my attention was how peaceful it felt, even though you’re still close enough to everything that matters in Dubrovnik.
Here’s what I love about staying in Lapad — you get to live like a local while still being a tourist. The neighborhood has this residential vibe that feels authentic, with tree-lined streets and that relaxed pace you don’t find in the Old Town. You’re about a 15-minute bus ride to Dubrovnik’s famous walls, but honestly, sometimes it’s nice to come back to somewhere that doesn’t feel like a theme park. There are local cafes and small shops within walking distance, plus the beach at Lapad Bay is just down the hill if you need to cool off after a day of sightseeing.
The rooms at Apartments Pina and Lavender are what I’d call thoughtfully designed — nothing over the top, but everything you actually need is there. Each apartment has a proper kitchenette, which is honestly a game-changer when you want to grab some fresh produce from the local market and make your own breakfast. The spaces feel more like staying in someone’s well-appointed guest house than a typical hotel room. Air conditioning works well (crucial in summer), and the Wi-Fi is reliable enough for video calls back home.

Public transport connections are solid, but having your own parking spot means you can also take day trips along the coast without worrying about where to leave your car when you get back.

Location was perfect! Right above above the grocery store and bakery, less than 10mins walk from Lapad bay and a 2min walk to the bus stop. Clean and modern. Hosts were very accommodating and responded promptly to all queries. No pressure on day of departure hosts give us as long as we needed.
What could be improved: The grocery store below was very noisy. Very early morning bottle bin dumping and deliveries.
Jasmine and Goran were very excellent hosts. Very helpful and very positive. The apartment is at the perfect location. Very close to beaches, restaurants, bus stop but in the same time it is a very quiet place.
The location of the property is perfect. It is walking distance to the beach and close enough to the Old City. We payed ~£6 for uber to get to the old city.
What could be improved: There was no window in the property which meant we had to turn on AC which I am not fan of. We visited as a family with our 3 year old so no window was little difficult.

Jasmina and Goran were welcoming and helpful. The apartment is modern and quite nice. They reserved us a parking spot. The location in Lapad is great because is near (1min) the main street (restaurants & bars) as well as the beaches (5min).
We’d gladly come back.
What could be improved: The only downside is that the apartment has no windows. You only get natural light through the main door (glass).
The room size, the cleanliness, the host amability, the location near centre (25 min walking to old town), free parking.
Goran and Jasmina are the BEST! apartment is super clean and their hospitality make everything great! TOTALLY RECOMENDEE!
1. Perfect location. Close to promenade with lots of restaurants, 5 min to the beach, supermarket, DM, pizzeria in the same building. Also bus stop is just 2 minutes away (number 6 to the center).
2. Apartment is clean and comfortable, nice and cozy. We felt like home and slept well here.
3. Air-conditioning is working good.
4. You have everything you need, including iron, toster. But there is no washing machine and dishwasher just for info.
5. The owners Jasmina and Goran are super nice and friendly. Smooth communication, check in process and self check out.
We truly enjoyed our 1 week stay in Dubrovnik and this appartment ❤️
What could be improved: Wi-fi was not stable sometimes, but we had mobile internet, so no issue for us.
