You know what struck me first about B18 Apartment? The address says Žudioska ulica, but honestly, you’re basically living inside Dubrovnik’s ancient walls here – like, literally steps from where tourists pay hefty entrance fees just to walk around for a few hours. I mean, most people spend their entire vacation trying to get this close to the Old Town’s heart, and you’re just… there.
The apartment itself is pretty solid for what you’re paying. It’s got that clean, modern feel that works well after you’ve spent the day wandering cobblestone streets (and trust me, your feet will thank you for those comfortable floors). What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night – which is actually surprising considering you’re right in the thick of everything. The stone walls are thick enough that you don’t hear every conversation from the street below, though you’ll definitely catch the morning chatter when locals head to work around 7 AM. The 8.5 rating makes sense once you’ve stayed there; it’s not luxury by any means, but everything works and the space feels thoughtfully put together.
Here’s the thing about this location that most people don’t realize until they’re actually staying in Old Town – you’re about a two-minute walk from Stradun (the main street everyone talks about), but more importantly, you’re close to some of the smaller side streets where locals actually grab coffee and pastries. There’s this little bakery that opens early on the street parallel to yours, and honestly, starting your morning there instead of the overpriced tourist spots makes a huge difference. The apartment doesn’t come with parking – well, nowhere in Old Town really does – but the Pile Gate area where you’ll probably end up leaving your car is maybe a 10-minute walk. During summer (July and August especially), I’d actually recommend this setup because driving around the city walls looking for parking is basically a nightmare anyway. The whole area gets pretty busy during peak season, but there’s something magical about being able to duck into your own space when the day-trip crowds get overwhelming around 2 PM. Plus, you get to experience the Old Town in the evening when it’s just locals and fellow travelers who are actually staying inside the walls – completely different vibe, much more relaxed.

Fabulous apartment in beautiful Dubrovnik. We loved the central location in the Old Town and proximity to everything. It was very clean and comfortable with good air conditioning.
What could be improved: It would be a struggle for anyone who had limited mobility. The steep staircases were tough but we managed and got used to it.
Great location, apartment was large & clean. Sonja was attentive, the information book great The location is fabulous but a reminder there are 75 steps from the Main Street up to the apartment. Good exercise!

Amazing! Dubrovnik is one for the books Josip is a great host! We felt welcome from the start, left a nice welcome, and was always responsive when we needed him. The place is great, inside the old town city walls, 2 minutes walking to the main street (lots of stairs but part of what Dubrovnik is!) and it had all the facilities we needed.

What could be improved: The bathroom was a loft and a bit uncomfortable when you try to see in the mirror. The bathroom would need more artificial light.
A short trip to Dubrovnik made especially comfortable with this apartment. The apartment was clean, bright and in an excellent location just inside the walls. We didn’t need to carry our luggage too far or up/down many stairs making it very easy to get too. There was also a very accessible luggage storage just across the bridge for when we checked out. We were able to access the beach, restaurants and the market with an easy 5-8 minute walk. At night the space was quiet and calm. The host was readily available to answer any questions and even helped arrange for a car to the airport later in the afternoon after we had already checked out. Excellent experience and we will definitely book here again on future visits.
Convenient and comfortable stay inside the city wall Fantastic location in terms of checking in and out (near Buza gate so very short distance to carry luggage) and being so near the main activities of Dubrovnik. The host was incredibly helpful and kind!
