You know what struck me first about Blumarine Apartments? The fact that it’s tucked away on this quiet residential street in Lapad, but you can still hear the gentle hum of the nearby promenade without any of the chaos that comes with staying right in Old Town. Petra Zoranica 6 – honestly, I had to ask my taxi driver to slow down because you could easily miss it, which is actually part of its charm. The building has this understated elegance that feels authentically Croatian rather than trying too hard to impress tourists.

The apartments themselves are genuinely spacious (and I mean actually spacious, not “European spacious” where you’re bumping into furniture). What really got me was the attention to detail – the kitchenettes are properly equipped, not just for show, and the bathrooms have that heated floor thing that you don’t realize you need until you’re padding around at 6 AM. The balconies… well, depending on which unit you get, some have these lovely glimpses of the Adriatic between the pine trees. I spent way too many mornings out there with coffee, watching locals walk their dogs and kids heading to school. There’s something really grounding about staying in a neighborhood where actual life happens, you know?

Location-wise, you’re about a 15-minute walk to Lapad Beach – and it’s a pleasant walk, not some uphill trek that leaves you questioning your life choices. The bus stop to Old Town is maybe three minutes away, and honestly, once you figure out the local bus system (which takes approximately one ride), you’ll wonder why anyone stays in the tourist quarter and deals with those crowds. Plus, there’s this little bakery around the corner on Šetalište Kralja Zvonimira that does these incredible burek pastries – the kind of local spot you’d never find if you were staying in the hotel zone. The staff at Blumarine actually told me about it, which says something about how they approach hospitality. They’re not just checking you in and disappearing; they genuinely seem to want you to experience Dubrovnik like someone who lives there. That 9.4 rating makes total sense when you realize they’ve figured out that small, thoughtful touches matter more than fancy lobbies or whatever.

  We loved our 4 night stay at Blumarine Apartments
  Located in the quiet residential area of Lapad, the apartment was very clean, comfortable and well equipped.
  A great location for visiting old town Dubrovnik with the bus stop nearby and Uber/Bolt very accessible and great price.
  Tommy & DM supermarkets and cafes are just around the corner.
  Excellent communication with Babic and Dejan, with good local recommendations. Dejan booked an Elaphiti island boat cruise for us.
  We recommend this apartment.

  Great apartment, and great location. Close to Tommy "Hypermarket" (=good supermarket), and bus stops for lines 4, 5, and 6 into town and beyond. We could also walk through the Mala Petka park, and circle back on the Setnica path.

  We enjoyed the area, and it was easy to navigate to the old city using the bus. Very nice place to stay, as it was spacious and clean. If we needed assistance, we were able to use the WhatsApp. Very responsive! Friendly hosts!

  The apartment is tiny but very comfortable. The host is very nice. She also arranged an excursion to the islands. Very good location. Excellent choice if you want to see Dubrovnik. Near is public transport, grocery, and the path to sea is about two minutes to go.

  The apartment is exactly the same as on the pictures, perfect for 2 people. Really well equipped, cozy, with everything you need for short/long stay, spotlessly clean, in excellent location. Fantastic host Babic took her time to explain key in the neighbourhood, how to get to the bus, Hypermarket, suggested restaurants and trips, she was also available in WhatsApp when we needed her suggestions. I couldn't not be happier with the stay. The beach facility with sunbeds and umbrellas is not operational, however visitors can still use the beach. It didn't have any negative impact on our trip, just make sure you have swimming shoes and umbrella as the beach is rocky

  We really enjoyed our stay at Blumarine Apartments. Location was perfect, you can walk to the beach and restaurants in Lapad. Apartment was very clean and you have everything you need. Babic was really helpful with everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again!

  Good area , close to many restaurants and a supermarket.
  Uber ride to the Old Town was very reasonable.
  The lady who hosted the apartment was extremely helpful.
  
  What could be improved: The beech facilities close to the apartment were no longer functioning because of some problem with the local government.
  That was a real pity since everything else was first rate.

  This property was beautiful! Great location, near to Lapad beach 2 min. walk, close to shop. 5 min. walk till bus stops, there you can take bus to old town. The host was very nice lady, she was helpful and we could check in earlier. It was great that there were separate towels for beach and separate towels for bathroom. Perfect equipped kitchen for breakfast and other meals.

  The cleanliness, location, brilliant host Babic, everything was in this cozy homely apartment, so well kitted out with everything needed including beach towels. So much thought has been put into this apartment. Babic allowed us a late check out which was so kind as our transfer was not until 1pm and this meant so much to us. Her kindness and communication are outstanding. Highly recommend a stay in this beautiful apartment.
