This little gem sits right in the heart of Lapad, and the moment you step onto that balcony, you understand why it scored a perfect 10.0 for location. The Adriatic stretches out in front of you like something from a postcard, and you’re close enough to hear the waves but far enough from the Old Town crowds to actually relax.

The apartment has everything you need without feeling cramped, and the kitchen is surprisingly well-equipped for such a small space. What really impressed me was how clean and modern everything felt, especially considering the 9.7 rating from other guests. The bed faces those sea views, so you’ll wake up to blue water every morning — honestly, it’s hard to beat that.

Location Magic

Here’s what locals know but guidebooks don’t always tell you: Lapad is where you want to be if you’re a couple looking for that perfect balance. You’re about a 15-minute bus ride from Dubrovnik’s famous walls (and the buses run constantly), but you’re also walking distance from some excellent seafood restaurants that tourists rarely find. The beach at Lapad Bay is just down the hill — it’s pebbly, sure, but the water is crystal clear and way less crowded than anything near the Old Town.

The Neighborhood Experience

What I love about this area is how it feels authentically Croatian while still being tourist-friendly. There’s a small market nearby where you can grab fresh produce, and the locals are genuinely friendly — probably because they’re not dealing with cruise ship crowds all day. In the evenings, you can walk along the waterfront promenade and watch the sunset paint the sea in ridiculous shades of orange and pink. It’s the kind of place where you actually feel like you’re experiencing Dubrovnik, not just checking it off a list.

Look, this isn’t a five-star hotel with a concierge and room service — but that’s exactly why it works so well for couples.   Perfecte gastvrouw en verblijf. Op 20 m links een supermarkt en op 50 m rechts n bakker. ( Overdag n zeer drukke straat) Klein strandje overzijde te hts met trappen te bereiken. Bushalte voor de deur brengt je voor € 2,50 of 20 min. Lopen, naar groot en mooi strand.
  Linksaf na 15 minuten de ommuurde stad. Bezichtiging stadsmuren belachelijk duur €40,- pp. Kabelbaan top.

  Fully equipped. Perfectly clean. Beautiful location. Wonderful host. Walking distance to the old town. If you don't feel like walking, bus station is right outside the building. In the immediate vicinity there is a supermarket, bakery, great fast food place…
  In short – perfect stay! Definitely would love to come back!

  Da mein Flug um 7:45 Uhr landete, durfte ich bereits um 9:30 Uhr einchecken.
  Bäckerei und kleiner Supermarkt um die Ecke.
  Altstadt gut zu Fuß erreichbar, Apartment sehr sauber und Frau Mirjana besonders freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend.
