Look, I’ll be straight with you about Dine Apartment – it’s not going to blow your mind, but it’s actually a pretty solid choice if you know what you’re getting into. The location on Splitski put is honestly one of those spots that works better than it looks on paper. You’re about a 15-minute walk from the Old Town walls, which I mean, sounds far until you realize you’re avoiding all the cruise ship chaos and those ridiculous crowds that pile up around Stradun during peak season.

The apartment itself has that lived-in feel that’s either charming or slightly worn depending on your mood when you arrive. I actually liked how it felt more like staying at someone’s actual place rather than a sterile hotel room – there’s character in the slightly creaky floors and the way the morning light hits the kitchen table. The 3-star rating is spot on; it’s clean and functional without any fancy extras, but honestly, who needs a concierge when you’ve got a proper kitchen and can hit up the local konoba down the street? Speaking of which, you’ll want to grab groceries at the Konzum that’s maybe a 5-minute walk away – much better prices than anything near the tourist zones, and the staff there actually remembers you after a couple days.

What really works about this place is how it sits in an actual neighborhood. You’ll hear kids playing in the courtyard sometimes, smell someone’s lunch cooking through the windows, and there’s this elderly guy who tends a little garden plot nearby who’ll nod at you after the second day like you belong there. The 7.1 rating probably reflects some of the quirks – the shower pressure isn’t amazing, and the wifi can get spotty during evening hours when everyone’s streaming – but those feel like minor trade-offs for the price point and the genuine local vibe. Plus, you’re positioned perfectly for day trips along the coast, and parking (if you’ve got a rental car) is actually manageable here unlike the nightmare closer to Pile Gate. It’s the kind of place where you settle in after a day of tourist stuff and feel like you’re actually living in Dubrovnik for a bit, not just passing through it.

  We loved the location – two minutes to the shop, 20 minutes to The Old Town. The neighbours were nice.

  We had a very nice stay. Found everything needed. Walking distance to the beach and old town.

  The location was good. the host was nice and spoke fluent english. pretty house with good bed. Everything was perfect except the ants. There was a nice beach and a huge grocery shop(konzum) nearby
  
  What could be improved: Ants. The house was occupied by ants. There were thousands of ants in the kitchen and some crawled into our soup. Hundreds of ants were sitting on the pan and it was not pleasant. I had to put all my stuffs high up on the closet to avoide ants

  The hospitality of the owner and his wie. They went to pick up us at the airport for 10 euro per person. Its the same price as the shuttle bus but more comfortabel.
  They also braught us to the bus main station to go split at the day of departure for free.

  El lugar es cómodo para 2/3 personas no más .Tiene un pequeño patio bajo una planta de Parra con mesita y sillas para disfrutar el aire libre y un tender para colgar ropa mojada, tiene aire acondicionado,vajilla para cocinar,secador de pelo .El barrio es muy tranquilo cerca de un mercado grande y de la costa para bajar a una pequeña playa .

  L'appartement est propre et dispose de toutes les commodités nécessaires pour un court séjour. On a aussi profité du service navette pour aller à l'aéroport.
  
  Un peu excentré, mais pas trop loin de la vieille ville. Pour y arriver: prendre un bus a l'arrêt Pile et descendre à Boninovo (toutes les lignes font ce trajet). Depuis l'arrêt, cinq minutes de marche.

  Manutenzione dell'appartamento necessaria.
  A primo impatto abbiamo trovato l'appartamento pulito, peccato che il giorno dopo ci siamo trovati le formiche in casa, il wc perdeva molta acqua nella parte sottostante (nonostante fosse ricoperto con silicone) e abbiamo dovuto tamponare con asciugamani e strizzarli regolarmente.
  La finestra con terrazzino non era accessibile.
  Il condizionatore vecchio e rumoroso sopra il letto con aria diretta sulle nostre teste.

  Très bon emplacement à proximité de tout, centre ville et plage. Arrêt de bus très proche également.
