This place on Ulica Petra Zoranića sits in what feels like actual Dubrovnik, where locals grab their morning coffee and kids play in the streets.

The apartment itself is on the second floor (that’s European second floor, so one flight up), and the moment you walk in, you get this sense that someone actually thought about how people live, not just how tourists sleep. The space feels properly Croatian — clean lines, good natural light, and this practical elegance that doesn’t try too hard. What I loved most was how quiet it gets at night; Lapad has this residential calm that lets you actually hear the sea breeze through the windows instead of late-night bar crowds. The kitchen is legitimately functional too, which matters if you want to hit the local market and cook some of that incredible Croatian seafood instead of eating out every single meal.

Here’s the thing about the location that most people don’t realize until they’re there — you’re about a 15-minute walk to some genuinely beautiful beaches, and there’s this local bus that runs regularly into the Old Town. But more importantly, you’re surrounded by neighborhood restaurants where locals actually eat. There’s this little konoba just a few streets over where the owner still brings out homemade rakija after dinner, and you’ll never find it in any guidebook. The whole area has this lived-in feel that makes you understand why people fall in love with Croatia beyond just the Instagram shots. Sure, you’re not literally inside the city walls, but honestly? After a day of exploring Dubrovnik’s stone streets in the summer heat, coming back to a peaceful apartment where you can spread out and breathe feels like exactly the right choice. The 9.6 rating makes total sense when you actually stay here — it’s not trying to be a luxury resort, it’s just doing everything really, really well.

  We stayed in this apartment in Dubrovnik for 4 nights and had a wonderful experience. The place was very new, spacious, and spotlessly clean. It’s located in a great area, with shops and restaurants just a short walk away. The host was extremely kind and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. One big plus was the secure parking spot in the garage, which gave us peace of mind. Highly recommend this apartment for anyone visiting Dubrovnik!

  The location is great-close to the beach, promenade, restaurants etc. It was very easy to connect with the property owner. The apartment has almost everything is needed for the short stay.

  The apartment was în perfect shape, clean, completely utilated, we din,t lack anyting. The neighbourhood îs probably one of The Best în dubrovnik. There îs a Tommy supermarket 100 m away, plenty of restaurants with good food and quite low prices nearby. I recomend it!

  The apartment is simply wonderful. The apartment is fully equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay. New renovation, everything is clean! The location is ideal, next to Lapad beach, 3 min walk. You can see the sea from the balcony.
