Dubrovnik Skyline Apartments Overview
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Dubrovnik Skyline Apartments on Ulica Iva Dulčića, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The street itself is actually pretty quiet, which is saying something in Dubrovnik during peak season. It’s one of those residential areas where you hear actual life happening – kids playing, neighbors chatting – instead of just the constant hum of tour groups. The building sits up on a slight hill, and you know what? That “skyline” in the name isn’t just marketing fluff. From most of the apartments, you actually get these glimpses of the old town walls and the Adriatic that make you stop mid-conversation.
The apartments themselves feel like someone’s actual home, not some sterile hotel room. I mean, you’ve got proper kitchens with decent-sized fridges (trust me, this matters when you’re trying to keep those Croatian wines cool), and the living spaces are laid out in a way that actually makes sense. The Wi-Fi is solid – I was working from there for a few days without wanting to throw my laptop out the window, which is more than I can say for some fancier places I’ve stayed. What really got me was the little details: proper curtains that actually block out light, shower pressure that doesn’t make you question your life choices, and – this is key – air conditioning that works without sounding like a helicopter landing on the roof.
The location is honestly perfect if you want to feel like you’re living in Dubrovnik rather than just visiting it. You’re about a 15-minute walk to Pile Gate (the main entrance to the old town), but here’s the thing – it’s mostly downhill getting there, which means the walk back is… well, let’s just say you’ll appreciate having those groceries delivered. There’s a small market just around the corner on Jadranska where you can grab basics, and the local bus stop is close enough that you can easily get to Lapad or the port without dealing with the nightmare that is driving in Dubrovnik.
Honestly, for a three-star place, the whole experience punches above its weight. The staff actually seems to care – they’ll text you parking instructions before you arrive (because parking in Dubrovnik is basically a contact sport), and when I had an issue with the washing machine, someone was there within an hour. The 8.4 rating makes total sense to me. It’s not trying to be some luxury resort, but it gets all the fundamentals right, and sometimes that’s exactly what you need. Plus, when you’re spending most of your day exploring the old town or lounging by the sea, you just want a comfortable, authentic place to come back to – and that’s exactly what this is.

Superb – Jazvić from Croatia – 8 June 2025 (9/10)
What could be improved: Check in is too late, check out is too early
Superb – Jovana from Slovenia – 12 May 2025 (9/10)
Clean and cosy
What could be improved: Miscommunication between owners and renting agency, they gave us wrong instructions for parking three times and kinda mess up our plans, but they sorted it out in the end. They were polite.Overall the stay was great! – Trisha from United States – 29 September 2024 (8/10)
It was clean, located directly on a bus line with easy access to all areas of the city. Our whole group was placed right next to each other which made planning very easy!
What could be improved: Would be a huge issue for people with mobility issues. Felt like you were in an apartment. Lots of people hanging outside smoking on the front steps, listening to loud music.Very good – Rebecca from United Kingdom – 8 August 2024 (8/10)
Great location.

Superb! – Shane from United Kingdom – 18 June 2024 (9/10)
Great location near plenty of bars and restaurants in Lapad. Only a 15 minute bus away from the old town. The bed was also comfortable, with a TV and free WiFi. The host was helpful and easy to contact via whatsapp. I enjoyed my stay at Skyline Apartments and would happily stay there again.
What could be improved: The only negative was the shower, which would be warm for 5 minutes before going cold.Good – Carolina from Portugal – 27 May 2024 (7/10)

What could be improved: The stove was not as useful , however everything else was perfectHappy with stay and location. – Julia from United Kingdom – 10 August 2023 (8/10)
Very clean and modern. Free parking, comfy bed and easy to get to centre, took 45min walking or there was a bus stop just across the road.
What could be improved: Hot water didn’t last very long and the air conditioning wasn’t great. Lots of banging in the morning due to ongoing building work.Superb – Boki123 from Croatia – 26 July 2023 (9/10)
New building and apartment, very well equipped kitchen, polite host, garage
