You know what struck me first about this little place on Ferićeva? The fact that you’re literally sleeping inside Dubrovnik’s ancient walls – I mean, how many people can say they’ve actually done that? This sweet corner apartment sits right in the heart of Old Town, and honestly, the location is almost ridiculous in how perfect it is. You step out the door and you’re already wandering those iconic limestone streets that everyone flies halfway around the world to see.

The apartment itself has this authentic Croatian charm that bigger hotels just can’t replicate. It’s not fancy – we’re talking 3 stars here – but there’s something really appealing about staying somewhere that feels like actual Dubrovnik life rather than tourist bubble accommodation. The 8.8 rating makes total sense once you’re there because while it might not have marble bathrooms or a concierge, it delivers exactly what you want: a genuine base in an incredible location with all the essentials sorted out. The space is thoughtfully set up too, with those thick stone walls that keep things surprisingly cool even during the scorching summer months (trust me, you’ll appreciate this if you visit in July or August).

What I really loved was how you’re close enough to everything to pop back during the day – super handy when you’re doing the full tourist thing and need to drop off shopping bags or escape the midday crowds. The narrow streets around Ferićeva have this lovely residential feel where you’ll see locals hanging laundry and chatting with neighbors, which honestly makes you feel less like you’re staying in a museum and more like you’re actually experiencing how people live here. Fair warning though – like everywhere in Old Town, you’ll be doing some walking on uneven stone surfaces, so pack accordingly. And while the central location is amazing, it does mean you’ll hear some street noise, especially during peak season when those tour groups start moving around early. But honestly? I found the sounds of the old city – church bells, footsteps on stone, distant conversations – pretty magical. It’s the kind of place where you’ll find yourself wanting to grab morning coffee and just sit on the doorstep watching Dubrovnik wake up.

  The owner sended a map with explanations how to get there and where to find the key.

  The location is excellent. The host is super attentive. The apartment is reasonable size and has got everything you need for a short stay. There are plenty of shelving spaces to put your stuff. The apartment is only 2 minutes walk from Pile Gate and it is flat up to the address.

  The location was so so good. I did a few activities and everything started at Pile Gate which is 2 minutes away so it was really convenient. The place is nice and clean and it has everything you might need in there. Check in is easy as the host provides very detailed check in instructions. I was struggling to open one of the doors when I arrived and he immediately responded to my messages.
  
  What could be improved: A bit noisy and you can hear the cats outside (it’s Old Town Dubrovnik after all) but personally I didn’t mind because I’m not a light sleeper. I’m pretty sure most places in the Old Town would have the same issue anyway so keep that in mind and maybe bring ear plugs.

  The location was great, simple but comfortable and quite spacious for two.perhaps some additional pillows would have been nice.

  Great location and easy to walk to from pile gate. Area was quiet which is hard to find in Dubrovnik. Excellent communication and organisation by the owners.
  
  What could be improved: Could be finished a little better e.g shower screen over a curtain, kitchen very small , flooring had some nails in it

  For three days in Dubrovnik the apartment is in an excellent location, right in the Old Town, in the evening you can move around easily and during the day you are close to the various meeting points for tours of all kinds. In the Old Town there are also some places to go swimming from the rocks, lots of restaurants and clubs but fortunately, specifically the street of the apartment, is quiet if you want to go to sleep early for the morning tours. The price is quite reasonable for the economy of Dubrovnik, having booked very late and in high season I think it was the best choice.

  Great location in the old town. Towards the entrance and on a small side street so insulated from most of the noise.
  Really good value for money considering most places in old town Dubrovnik are expensive
  It's a studio but quite big and more than enough room for two

  What could be improved: My only real issue is the mattress and pillows are quite hard and thin. It didn't stop us from sleeping but could definitely be more comfortable.
