The shared bathroom situation might make some people hesitate, but honestly? It works better than you’d expect. The neighborhood feels residential – you’ll see kids playing in the streets, elderly locals sitting outside cafes, that sort of authentic daily life that makes you feel less like a tourist. Parking can be tricky around here, just like everywhere in Dubrovnik, but there are spots if you’re patient. The hosts gave me some insider tips about where to look that actually worked, which was refreshing – usually that advice is hit or miss. For what you’re paying, especially considering how expensive Dubrovnik can get during peak season, this feels like stumbling onto something locals might actually recommend to their friends visiting from out of town.
