    The property feels like home and is very quiet. Utilities for kitchen and the washing machine are excellant. The place is also close to the cable car station. Access to the old town is easy.

    Location of the property was good. It is tucked away up steps however after a few steps up to the main road you can walk downhill to the old town easily.

    We were a family of 7 with a stroller and managed well during our stay.

    What could be improved: Location was perfect. The property had everything we needed for a family of 7. Communication with staff was very easy and booking extras like cots, transfers to and from the airport was seamless.

    Location was superb, it was large and spacious, just a very short walk to the entrance to the Old Town, comfy beds, and all the basics you need. Airy rooms, high ceiling, lovely old style.

    It was really close to the Old Town and beach (quite a few steps, but completely manageable) and just up the road from the cable car. The courtyard was really nice for eating outside, the beds were really comfortable, and the lounge was large enough for the 5 of us to relax. It had everything we needed in the kitchen and bathroom including coffee machine, dishwasher and hair dryer.

    What could be improved: The lock on the door to the bathroom got jammed and the key stopped working, but there was a spare we could use to open it from the outside. The living room lights were very bright. A reading light, or dimmer switch would have made it slightly more comfortable in the evening.

    Great location!! The property has everything that you would need for your stay. The garden area was an added bonus for dining and letting our children run around. Would definitely recommend.

    What could be improved: A little dated but not a huge concern. Apartment at the top of some steep steps which wasnt an issue for us (even managed daily with the buggy) but possibly an issue for people with mobility issues.

    What could be improved: the oven wasn’t working and there was no toaster but they came and

    Location was excellent – although be prepared for the steps! Terrace was a great place to chill and relax. It was literally five minutes to Ploce gates, also to a swimming spot and probably less to the cable car. The house looks dreadful from the street because the top floors have been abandoned although there are some signs of renovation. Don't be put off. When you are in the holiday flat and on the terrace you have no idea about the rest of the building. Don't be put off!

    What could be improved: The place was so clean it was sterile. There is no spare bedding and only very soft single pillows provided. There is a washing machine but no washing powder/tablets. There are no toileteries (usually people leave something behind). Be prepared to set up from scratch. The shower is over the bath and there is no shower curtain. It's fine if you are careful. There is an extra toilet which is in the smallest space ever. The door hits the toilet and the toilet lifts from the floor as you squeeze in. None of this is a reason not to stay – it just could have felt a little more homely.

    The photos on the website do this apartment justice, it's very roomy, clean and pleasant to use. The large patio is especially nice, giving a choice between sitting outside in ambient temperature or inside with aircon. We all liked the kitchen, it was big enough and had enough kit for us to prepare nice breakfasts and lunches when it was too hot to go out during the day.

    The location is pretty good – about 5 minutes walk from the Polce gate into the old city. Be aware though that it's a hilly 5 minutes, but so is everywhere else. We knew Dubrovnik was going to be the most expensive part of our trip and, in that context, felt this apartment was pretty good value.
