Look, I’ve stayed at plenty of places in Dubrovnik over the years, and honestly? Indy’s Beach Apartments hits that sweet spot where you feel like you’re living in the city rather than just visiting it. The two-bedroom setup with the sea view balcony – I mean, you’re going to spend half your morning out there with coffee just watching the Adriatic do its thing. The view isn’t some distant glimpse either; you’re actually looking out over the water in a way that makes you forget you’re in an apartment complex.

What really gets me about this place is how it sits in the residential part of Dubrovnik, away from the cruise ship crowds that basically swallow the Old Town whole during peak season. You know what I’m talking about if you’ve ever tried to grab lunch near Stradun in July – it’s madness. But here, you can walk to a proper Croatian bakery in the morning (there’s one about three blocks down that locals actually use), grab some burek, and feel like you’re part of the neighborhood. The apartment itself is spacious enough that you’re not stepping on each other – something that matters when you’re traveling with family or friends for more than a few days. The kitchen is actually functional too, which sounds basic but you’d be surprised how many places give you two burners and call it good.

The balcony situation deserves its own mention because that’s where you’ll probably end up spending your evenings. There’s something about watching the light change over the water while you’re having a glass of whatever Croatian wine you picked up that day… it just works. The apartment stays relatively cool even in summer heat, and you’re far enough from the main tourist drags that you won’t hear groups stumbling back from the bars at 2 AM. Parking can be a bit tricky in this part of town – it’s Croatia, after all – but the owners know the area and they’ll point you in the right direction. The whole check-in process was refreshingly straightforward, no weird key-pickup locations or confusing instructions. Just someone who knows the building showing you around like they actually want you to have a good time.

  It was a beautiful place with an amazing view of the blue Adriatic sea from the balcony. The house is thoughtfully furnished with almost everything you may need. You can spend endless hours in the balcony watching boats of all sizes pass by in the sea. Evenings are particularly beautiful with the sun setting to your right changing the colours of the water and the islands nearby. It is about 15mins away from Dubrovnik by car. And of course, there's a friendly cat on the property you can play with!

  Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, vom Balkon fantastische Sicht aufs Meer, sehr schöner Strand mit wenig Leuten ganz in der Nähe, das Apartment sehr sauber, kostenloser Parkplatz Vorort, super Lage (nicht weit nach Dubrovnik und nach Ston), sehr herzliche Vermieterin, gute Ausstattung der Küche.
  
  What could be improved: Leider war die Straße sehr befahren und man hat den Autoverkehr gehört, wenn man auf dem Balkon saß. Bei heißen Nächten reicht die eine Klimaanlage im Wohnzimmer leider nicht aus. In den Schlafzimmern ist es ziemlich warm.
