When I first pulled up to Vrbica 27, honestly, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star spot in Dubrovnik (you know how pricey and touristy this city can get). But walking into these apartments, there’s this immediately relaxed vibe that’s hard to find once you’re dealing with the cruise ship crowds downtown.
The thing about staying here is that you’re actually in a proper neighborhood where locals live, not some sterile hotel district. I mean, there’s a little bakery maybe two minutes down the street where the owner remembers your coffee order by day three, and you’ll hear kids playing in the courtyard in the evenings – that real residential feel that makes you forget you’re in one of Europe’s most famous tourist destinations. The apartments themselves are genuinely well-maintained, with these solid stone floors that keep everything cool even in August heat, and the kitchenettes are actually functional (not just decorative like some places). What really got me was the attention to small details – decent water pressure in the shower, proper blackout curtains, and WiFi that doesn’t cut out every twenty minutes.
Now, you’re about a 15-minute walk to the old town walls, which honestly is perfect because you get to skip the morning tourist rush but can still wander over for sunset drinks without any hassle. The host family really knows their stuff too – they’ll tell you which bus to take to avoid the crowds at Banje Beach, or point you toward this little konoba tucked away in Lapad where the locals actually eat. The 9.3 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there; it’s not trying to be some luxury resort, but everything just… works. The AC keeps up with the heat, parking is sorted without drama, and check-in was refreshingly simple after dealing with some of the bureaucratic nightmares at other Croatian accommodations. There’s something to be said for a place that delivers exactly what it promises without any pretense – clean, comfortable, and run by people who actually care about whether you have a good time in their city.

Croatian adventure by motorcycle It was outstanding the apartment was pure luxury the view from the balcony is breathtaking and Indie the lady owner is so friendly I can very highly recommend
What could be improved: Nothing not to dislike
Perfect retreat for couples . Private and relaxing with picture postcard views. Only regret didn’t book for longer! Will Real retreat ..gem of a place . Balcony and views picture perfect. Extremely comfy bed/pillows. Uber taxi into old town reasonable 9euro . Host very friendly and easy check in check out
What could be improved: Only thing could say to improve would have been a blackout blind on windows & 2 x sun loungers as the balcony is large enough for 2 beds.
Exceptional We loved everything! The hospitable hosts, the beautiful clean well decorated and comfortable apartment, and the million dollar veiw of nature and cruise ships coming into Dubrovnik.
Also we cant forget to mention Franki the resident cat who let us love on him and made us feel better because we missed our own pets.
We would definitely return when visiting Dubrovnik.

Inari ja Antti Apartment is clean, cosy and perfect for couple. Beach is lovely and exiting stairways lead there. Atmosfere is calm and relaxing and there is
wiew you like to wacht day after day.
Friendly and helpful owners, great location and facilities. What a beautiful view from your own private patio-gazebo overlooking the Adriatic Sea and a beautiful pebble beach. Less than a 10 minute drive to Dubrovnik old town.
Exceptional Super friendly and helpful staff. Definitely recommend. And the terrace view wow.

Exceptional The apartment is fully equipped and very cozy, you can walk to the beach and the closest bus station is a few meters away. There’s also a super friendly cat called Franky 🐱
