I mean, you’re maybe thirty seconds from the main drag, but it actually feels peaceful here. The building itself has that weathered stone look that screams authentic Dubrovnik, not some modern renovation trying too hard to fit in.

The apartment honestly punches above its 3-star rating – I’m talking about a 9.6 rating for good reason. Inside, it’s got this lovely mix of old-world charm and actually functional amenities (you’d be surprised how rare that combo is in Old Town). The windows frame those narrow medieval streets perfectly, and in the morning you’ll hear the gentle clatter of delivery carts on cobblestones instead of cruise ship crowds – at least if you’re up early enough. The space feels genuinely lived-in rather than sterile, with local touches that make you feel like you’re staying in someone’s carefully curated home rather than a generic rental. What I really appreciated was the attention to practical details – good water pressure (crucial after climbing those city walls), proper blackout curtains for summer sunsets that drag on forever, and honestly just enough space to spread out your stuff without feeling cramped.

Here’s the thing about staying right in Old Town – and locals will tell you this – you’re living like a Dubrovnik resident, not just visiting. You’ll duck into the same bakery as the shopkeepers for morning coffee, you’ll know which restaurants the cruise crowds haven’t discovered yet, and you can actually enjoy the city walls at sunset without fighting through tour groups because you’re already home. The location means you can slip back for an afternoon nap when the midday heat gets brutal (and trust me, it does), then head out again when the golden hour hits those limestone buildings just right. Sure, you’ll hear some street noise – it’s a living, breathing part of the city after all – but it’s the good kind of noise that makes you feel connected to this incredible place rather than isolated from it.

  The apartment is spacious, clean and comfortable. The location is perfect within the walls and we were close to a convenient store which was very handy. Nikolina is a great hostess, she answered to our questions timely and gave clear instructions about how to get into the apartment.

  The apartment is amazing – location is fantastic, right in the centre of the old town but still quiet at night so you can sleep (and bed was really comfortable too). Apartment is super clean and spacious. Nikolina was great to deal with – always responsive and helpful. Couldn't have asked for any more.
