You know what really struck me about Lenka Apartment when I first walked up to Hrvatskog Crvenog Križa 10? It’s this narrow street that most tourists completely miss – honestly, I probably walked past it three times before I found the entrance. But that’s actually perfect because you’re literally a five-minute walk from the Pile Gate (the main entrance to Old Town), yet you’re tucked away where the tour groups never venture.

The apartment itself is on the third floor – and I mean proper European third floor, so that’s four flights of stairs if you’re American. Worth mentioning because there’s no elevator, but honestly, after a few days of walking Dubrovnik’s marble streets, you’ll barely notice. What I loved about staying here was how it felt like borrowing a friend’s place rather than checking into some sterile hotel room. The owner clearly lives in Dubrovnik (not just someone who bought property for Airbnb profit) because there were these thoughtful touches everywhere – decent coffee in the kitchen, extra blankets that actually matched the décor, and she left recommendations for konobas that weren’t just the obvious tourist traps near Stradun.

The location is honestly brilliant once you figure out the neighborhood. You’re in Pile, which means you can walk to everything – the cable car station is maybe eight minutes uphill, and there’s this little bakery around the corner on Frana Supila where locals grab their morning coffee. I mean, you’ll pay Old Town prices for everything, but that’s just Dubrovnik reality. What surprised me was how quiet it gets at night, even in summer. The street doesn’t connect to any major pedestrian routes, so you don’t get the late-night chatter from people stumbling back from bars in the old city. The apartment faces inland too, so no sea views, but you’re not paying sea view prices either – and honestly, you’ll spend maybe thirty minutes a day actually in the room anyway. One thing to know is that parking is… well, it’s Dubrovnik, so it’s complicated. There’s a public garage about a ten-minute walk away, but the owner can give you the real scoop on street parking if you’re driving. The 9.2 rating makes total sense to me – it’s not fancy, but everything works, it’s spotless, and the location-to-price ratio is pretty much unbeatable for what you get in this part of the city.

  We really enjoyed our stay at Lenka apartment! It had everything you may need (and even more!) and was very clean. Nice balcony and a well equipped kitchen was a big plus for us. Location is also great and the host is very helpful and friendly.

  Very nice neat place! Was very clean and all amenities are in the appartement.
  We really enjoyed staying there, felt like at home and with a lovely balcony. View on building but we didn't mind. There is everything you need there.
  Communication with the host was great and quick.
  Old town is 20mins walk or 5mins with the bus.
  Would definitely book again if we have the occasion.

  Jelena was an amazing and helpful host. The place is modern, spacious, and near the port, there is a bus station nearby to go to Old Town. Excellent place to stay when visiting Dubrovnik!

  Nikolina was great host! her place is a good place to stay in the city. close to the old town and the apartment is in a very modern building at a quiet place. clean and organized. I strongly recommend this apartment!

  Beautiful, clean and modern apartment with balcony. We had a kitchen to cook in but mostly stored snacks like cold drinks etc. Shower was perfect, and theres a washing machine too. We arrived by ferry and explored Gruz to see the Red History Museum. We also rented mopeds from nearby Bellevue, so the location was perfect for us
  
  What could be improved: The location is ideal if you're coming to Dubrovnikby boat like us but not if you want to be on the Old Town side. Roughly 20 mins uphill walk to old town, we didnt get the bus which is quicker but the bus might be needed if you have mobility issues. Its not a negative against the lovely apartment as the location suited us perfectly we were able to visit attractions and rent mopeds nearby
