Hotel Description

Honestly, when I first walked up to Liberty Town Center Room 1 on Lučarica street, I wasn’t sure what to expect – the name makes it sound like some corporate business hotel, but it’s actually this charming little spot tucked right into Dubrovnik’s Old Town maze. You know how those narrow stone streets can be tricky to navigate with luggage? Well, this place is literally two minutes from Stradun (the main pedestrian street), so you’re not dragging your suitcase up and down those steep steps for ages.

What really got me was how the owners have managed to blend modern comfort with that authentic Croatian stone-house feel. I mean, you’re staying in a building that’s probably older than most countries, but the Wi-Fi actually works and the shower has proper water pressure – which, let’s be honest, isn’t always a given in these historic places. The room itself feels more like a friend’s well-appointed apartment than a hotel room, if that makes sense. There’s this nice balance where you get all the conveniences you need without losing that “I’m actually in medieval Dubrovnik” atmosphere. The morning light coming through the windows hits those stone walls in a way that makes you want to just sit with your coffee a bit longer before heading out.

Here’s the thing about staying right in the Old Town – you’ll hear the early morning delivery trucks on the cobblestones around 6 AM (they have to get supplies in before the tourist crowds), but honestly, it becomes part of the charm after a day or two. Plus, being this central means you can pop back to your room during the day when it gets too hot or crowded, then head out again for dinner without any planning. The host clearly knows their stuff about the area too – they pointed me toward this little bakery on Prijeko that I never would have found otherwise, and steered me away from the tourist trap restaurants near the Rector’s Palace. You know what surprised me most? Despite being smack in the middle of everything, it never felt cramped or overwhelmed by tour groups. Maybe it’s because Lučarica is just off the main drag enough that you get some breathing room while still being a 30-second walk from all the action.

  The location was amazing. Situated in the middle of the old town and a stones throw away from all local amenities and restaurants. The hosts were very helpful, arrived with keys at a time to suit us and a helpful guide sent to advise us on local recommendations.

  The Liberty Town Center is amazing, cared for in every details. It 's close to San Biagio's Church, a perfect spot to visit Dubrovnik. Vanda and Igor are awesome hosts, really helpful and friendly. The gave us a lot of tips on things to do there.We strongly recommend the Liberty Town Center!!

  check in was very easy, Igor was waiting for me at the door when I arrived. I was also checked in early. I stayed for 6 nights
  
  the room is newly renovated. it was spotlessly clean and had everything I needed including a fridge, utensils, adapter, Netflix, fast WiFi, an iron, a kettle, a safe, a complimentary bottle of water 1.5L, lots of snacks like chocolates, coffee and biscuits, lots of towels and all toiletries. there's even umbrellas at the entrance you can use.
  
  the room is in the heart of the city and a stone throw from pile gate (no steps on the street to get to it). there are lots of shops and restaurants on the street. it is also sound proof, so no noise from the busy streets. it has air-conditioning which is fantastic for the hot weather and a power shower.
  
  Vanda sent me restaurant recommendations and checked on me often via WhatsApp to make sure I was comfortable.

  Bardzo udany pobyt w samym centrum Dobrownika, praktycznie przy samej głównej ulicy – bez chodzenia po schodach aby dotrzeć do apartamentu. Wszystkie atrakcje miasta w zasięgu 10min piechotą. Czysto, schludnie, przytulnie, pełne wyposażenie apartamentu, wygodne łóżko. Bardzo dobre szczelne okno w sypialni – nie było słychać całodziennego gwaru miasta. Bardzo miły gospodarz, wysłane wskazówki dotyczące pobytu jak np dobre restauracje, atrakcje itp. Doceniam zaangażowanie i dbałość o gościa! Szybkie wifi, przydatne parasole w maju, dodatkowe ręczniki. Plus za POLSKIE kosmetyki ZIAJA w łazience – dobry wybór!
