You know what really struck me about L&N Studio Apartment? It’s tucked away on this quiet side street in Lapad – Ulica Gorica Svetog Vlaha – which honestly sounds way more intimidating than it actually is. I mean, Lapad itself is where a lot of locals hang out, especially in the evenings when families are walking along the waterfront promenade. It’s got this authentic neighborhood feel that’s completely different from the tourist chaos in Old Town, but you’re still only a quick bus ride away from all the Dubrovnik must-sees.

The studio itself is one of those places that actually lives up to its 9.6 rating. When I walked in, everything just felt… right, you know? The space is smartly designed – not huge, but they’ve used every corner well. The bed was comfortable (and I’m picky about mattresses), and there’s this little kitchenette that’s actually functional, not just for show. What I really appreciated was the attention to small details – proper hangers in the closet, decent water pressure in the shower, and WiFi that doesn’t cut out every ten minutes. The owner clearly gets what travelers need. There’s even a small balcony where you can have your morning coffee, though don’t expect sweeping sea views – this isn’t about the vista, it’s about the experience.

Here’s the thing about staying in Lapad though – you’re living more like a local than a tourist. There’s a great little bakery just a few streets over where you can grab fresh burek for breakfast, and the Lapad Bay beach is this gorgeous stretch where you can actually find a spot to lay your towel without fighting crowds. The evening scene along the waterfront is lovely too, with families out strolling and a few low-key bars where you can grab a beer without paying Old Town prices. Parking can be a bit tricky in the summer months (street parking fills up fast), but the bus connections are solid – the number 6 will get you to Pile Gate in about 15 minutes. Honestly, after spending a day dodging cruise ship crowds in the old city, coming back to this quiet corner of Lapad felt like a real retreat. The whole area has this relaxed, residential vibe that makes you feel like you’re getting a genuine taste of Croatian coastal life, not just ticking boxes on a tourist itinerary.

  Location is perfect, quiet, 20 min walk to old town. Or just take Liberta bus or Uber. Appartement bright, clean, well equiped. Small grocery 3 min, bakery 6 min. Perfect comunication with owner.

  It's a very sweet apartment and it's close to old town and bus station. there is parking space which means easier for guest who rent car and travel in Croatia. Host is very kindly to solve any problem when you live in the sweet apartment.

  Wonderful, clean, well equiped apartment with great sorrounding areas. Quiet, beautiful place with Catholic churge close by, and little shop. What a view from.the window!!! Amazing.contact with owner, Ivanka, who has explained.everything.very clearly, was nice to us, and sent us even good hints about Dubrovnik. Great spot. We want to come back there already.   It is absolutely lovely cozy, compact apartment, all facilities provided. We liked that there are literally absolute silence, you cannot hear any sound of outside during day and night, very helpful owner and extremely lovely neighbors. Close to beach and small grocery. Highly recommended!
