We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this pleasantly furnished and comfortable apartment. It was clean and had all the basi Lovely furnishings, good wifi, comfortable bed, small but pleasant accommodation. Kettle, and basic crockery and cutlery were provided and a small fridge to keep perishables for self catering. An accommodating and helpful host. Very central location.
What could be improved: No complaints.
Luna
Dubrovnik, Croatia
Luna
You know what struck me first about Luna?
You know what struck me first about Luna? It’s tucked away on this quiet residential street in the Old Town – Ulica Braće Andrijića – which honestly, I had to ask three locals how to pronounce correctly. But that’s exactly why I loved it. While everyone’s fighting for rooms on the main drag near Stradun, you’re basically living like a local here, watching old Croatian ladies hang laundry from their windows and hearing actual neighborhood sounds instead of tour group chatter at 6 AM.
The hotel itself is… well, it’s a solid 3-star that punches way above its weight. I mean, with a 9.1 rating, you’d expect something fancy, but Luna’s charm is more subtle than that. The rooms are clean and comfortable – nothing Instagram-worthy, but you’ve got everything you need and the AC actually works (crucial in July, trust me). What really got me was the staff’s local knowledge. The guy at reception – I think his name was Marko – drew me a hand-sketched map showing a secret staircase that cuts ten minutes off the walk to the city walls. That’s the kind of insider stuff you can’t get at the big chain hotels.
Location-wise, you’re about a 5-minute walk from all the main Old Town action, but far enough away that you can actually sleep at night. The narrow stone streets can be a bit tricky with luggage – I definitely overpacked – but there’s something magical about winding through these ancient alleys to get to your hotel. Plus, you’re practically next door to some of the best konoba restaurants that tourists never find. There’s this little place around the corner where the owner’s grandmother still makes the pasta by hand… but I’m getting off track. The point is, Luna puts you right in the heart of authentic Dubrovnik without the tourist circus atmosphere. It’s not luxury, but it’s real – and sometimes that’s exactly what you need.

What Our Guests Say
Very good Amazing Position
Fantastic property to let you enjoy & explore Old Town What we loved most was how close the room was to the Old Town , and how it was on a quiet side alley so no noise during the evening or morning.
Toni was fantastic as a host and we couldn’t ask for more from him. He was easy to talk too and responded quickly and even stored our luggage for us after check out.
We highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to explore Old Town.
Classic room inside Dubrovnik's old city walls Beautiful room in a historic building inside the city walls of the Dubrovnik old town, on a walking distance from restaurants and tourist attractions, yet very quiet. Super friendly host who was understanding of my delayed arrival, and able to provide me with recommendations for restaurants. Highly recommended for couples!
What could be improved: Warm water in the shower runs out quicker than expected (and was warned in advance about this by the host).
Central location - was perfect for us. The location was fantastic. Toni was a great host, helping us when we were lost. We had lunch where he works and it was lovely. Would definitely stay there again.
Amazing host, great location, comfortable room. The host Toni was incredible. He was so accomodating and friendly. The room was a great size, comfortable and in a great location. Highly recommend!
Cosy, clean, comfortable, and super convenient. Perfect for no frills budget traveler. Super convenient location right in the heart of Old Town Dubrovnik just a 7-min walk from one of the entrances. Tucked away up one of the streets off the main square, you are off the beaten path but close to everything. The room was large, quiet, clean and comfortable. This is one of several rooms in an apartment building, not a standalone guesthouse.
Superb really lovely room and host, great location!
Perfect accommodation for a short stay in Dubrovnik. Location is in the old town but in a quiet alley away from the madness. The studio was perfect for our 2 night stay. Toni was available and checked us in as well as gave us a few tips.
What could be improved: For 2 days it was perfect however it would have been a little too small for a longer stay for 2 people without a little kitchenette and a little more room.
Charming in great location. Location, old world charm. Super helpful host.
What could be improved: Room was a little small, but not a problem.
