The building itself is modern and sleek, which feels refreshing after you’ve spent days wandering through medieval stone streets. What immediately caught my attention was how quiet everything felt here, even though you’re still very much connected to the city.
You know what I love about staying in Lapad? It’s where actual Dubrovnik residents live and work, so you get this authentic Croatian neighborhood vibe that’s completely missing from the tourist-heavy areas. The location on Ulica Petra Hektorovića puts you within walking distance of Lapad Bay’s pebble beaches — I mean, you can literally hear the Adriatic from some rooms. There’s a decent grocery store just down the street, and the local bus stop connects you directly to Pile Gate in about 20 minutes. Plus, and this is huge for anyone who’s tried to navigate Dubrovnik by car, they offer free parking. Trust me, that’s worth its weight in gold around here.
The rooms here are actually proper apartments rather than traditional hotel rooms, which explains the “apartment” part of the name. Mine had a full kitchen with everything you’d need — refrigerator, stovetop, even a dishwasher. The living area was spacious enough that I could spread out my maps and guidebooks without feeling cramped. What struck me most was how well-maintained everything felt; the furnishings are contemporary without being cold, and there’s plenty of natural light streaming through large windows. The bathroom was modern and well-appointed, though nothing too fancy — just solid, reliable amenities that work perfectly.
Having that kitchen turned out to be more valuable than I expected. After a few days of restaurant meals (which, let’s be honest, add up quickly in Dubrovnik), being able to grab fresh produce from the local market and cook a simple dinner was actually relaxing. The free Wi-Fi worked reliably throughout the apartment, and the air conditioning kept things comfortable during those warm summer afternoons. I also appreciated having a washing machine — after hiking the city walls and exploring coastal paths, being able to do laundry without hunting down a service was genuinely helpful.
It’s easy to see why this place scores so highly with couples. The apartment setup gives you privacy and space to unwind together after busy sightseeing days, while the Lapad location offers romantic evening walks along the waterfront promenade. You’re close enough to Dubrovnik’s main attractions but far enough away to escape the cruise ship crowds when you need a breather. It was clean and comfortable, convenient location.
What could be improved: Was a bit limited on kitchen supplies. Would have liked to have coffee available, like Nespresso pods or instant, as well as paper towels.
Great location, around 30 mins walk from the old town, 10 mins to the marina, 20 mins to the Lapad beach. The apartment was very spacious and bright.
Vedran was very helpful from the start. He had suggestions for trips, restaurants etc.

What could be improved: The smell from the pipes in the bathroom (old pipes) and squeaky bed in the master bedroom.
Very good location in Dubrovnik as You are in reach of the city walls within walking distance however you have the Bus station right outside. Spacious apartment for more people. Parking is also available.

The host was very helpful and addressed any question or concern quickly.
The unit was very clean, beds were comfortable, AC was working properly, a total of 3 TV's were distributed in every room, Netflix was available, the Internet connection was very fast. Also the unit is equipped with all the necessary white goods (washing machine, fridge, microwave) as well as pans and cutlery.
The unit is located in a quiet residential area, at a walking distance from some bakeries and supermarkets and close to a bus stop from where you can reach the Old Town and many other places easily
What could be improved: For relatively long stays it would be a plus if the host arranges cleaning service every three-four days. We stayed almost one week and we felt cleaning was needed after few days.
What could be improved: They don’t have the elevator and for family is not so comfortable. The rest was fine

We liked everything, the furniture, cleaness, utilities and the host too. Great communication and good recommandations about the town. We really like the smart TVs with Netlfix. Bonus, we had games to play in the apartment which was welcomed by us.
What could be improved: The parking lot. It was hard to find a spot on the street.
Host was very responsive & proactive. Provided all necessary information & tips where to eat, what to see. Location was good, especially if you prefer more quite location (not the old town).
Location not too far from sunset beach.
What could be improved: In overall we liked everything. The only thing which could be improved - coffee, tea & other things could be provided.
