  Host Maro is a great guy, got in touch shortly before our arrival, waited for us in front of the building, collection of the keys was quite smooth. Maro also gave extensive explanations about the apartment and tips of things to do around the area + restaurants. I understood he can also organize day trips / excursions.
  The apartment is well equipped, very spacious and comfortable, ideal location in Lapad: a few steps from the pedestrian promenade, many restaurants around and good base for the 5 km circular coastal walk around Babin Kuk. Public transport or taxi / uber make it easy to reach the Old Town.
  Small supermarket Studenac on the ground floor is very convenient.
  
  What could be improved: The area has a pervasive smell, apparently coming from the sea, that is a bother. To mitigate its impact for the apartment – even more so after some time unoccupied – I'd suggest that prior to delivering the keys, the drains in the bathrooms and sinks are washed.

  Everything. The Mazza-Michaela apartment is spectacular and helped make our vacation in Dubrovnik a wonderful one. Maro was highly communicative and went out of his way to make our stay exceptional. The apartment is brand new, luxurious, the kitchen was well stocked, and we were even offered lush bathrobes. The terrace offers a beautiful view of the ocean and the beach was a short 8-10 minute walk away. Very convenient to a supermarket (downstairs) and to the top restaurants of Lapad. We just wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you for an extraordinary oasis.

  Loved this gorgeous apartment . The location, the decoration, the little touches like beach towels and dressing gowns and slippers, beautiful toiletries, fabulous coffee machine, powerful air con. The welcome pack of food.
  Mauro was so helpful when we needed more coffee and towels.
  
  What could be improved: Needs some condiments in the kitchen. Cupboards are bare. Needs salt and pepper and oil. Needs oven gloves, matches and scissors.

  Lovely spacious and well equipped accommodation. Beautiful veranda and view. Close to old town. Fab restaurants and bars nearby. Maro was a brilliant host with great recommendations and organised taxi transfer to and from airport. Highly recommend .

  location was perfect, near to bus route to the city. lovely view from balcony. Sparkling clean apartment. Warm and welcoming hosts with excellent communication from the outset.
  
  What could be improved: Written instructions on how to use kitchen facilities. May be useful to have a final check that everything is in good working order, for instance, kitchen and bathroom sink plugs didn't seem to be working and loose kitchen wall sockets that could not accommodate coffee machine. These were minor oversights and I am certain that had I referred them to the hosts, they would have fixed them. They did not detract from the overall exceptional quality of the apartment.

  The host and the property owner as a family were incredibly friendly people, making our stay extra comfy and convenient at every turn (airport pick-up and drop-off; island cruise booking; finding the pharmacy on call on Sunday on our arrival and taking us there in his own car to buy some medicine for my husband's ear infection). The host, Maro, made himself available at the end of the WhatsApp chat whenever we had a question to ask. Special thanks to these gorgeous people who surrounded us to make us comfortable and feel at home! As for the property, this was an immaculate and spacious flat finished to perfection. Everything was very well-thought for the comfort of its guests and done tastefully. The beds were super comfy and the beddings were also high quality. The balcony was the place where we enjoyed our coffee and a glass of wine. It overlooks the green top mountain just as shown in the pictures. Beautiful! There is a small but very handy market at the ground level of the apartment and the underground car park is very convenient if you rent a car. Perfect location with easy access to the promenade taking you straight to Sunset Beach which is very family and children-friendly. It is only 6 minutes walk to the beach. There are a few other beaches or make-shift points around Sunset Beach to dip into the crystal clear waters practically wherever and whenever you want to cool yourself off. Every rock with a stair is practically a beach in Croatian style which I loved. Loads of places to eat and have refreshments along the promenade. It is approximately 10 minutes drive to the Old City. We used Uber | Bolt most of the time to have access to the Old City which was the cheapest thing in Croatia. Especially made sense as we were 3 people in total. We will never look for a property the next time we are visiting Dubrovnik. This is the place we will stay again and again!
