Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of places around Dubrovnik over the years, and honestly? The Luxury Sea View Apartments on Kliševska ulica might just be the sweet spot everyone’s been looking for. You know how most “luxury” places in Croatia either feel like they’re trying too hard or they’re stuck in some 1980s time warp – well, this isn’t that. The moment you walk into these apartments, there’s this immediate sense of… I don’t know, like someone actually thought about how people want to live when they’re on vacation.

The location is what really gets me though. Kliševska ulica is this quiet residential street that most tourists never find – it’s about a 12-minute walk to the Old Town walls, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with the cruise ship crowds stumbling back at 2 AM. I mean, you can actually hear the sea from your balcony instead of drunk British tourists (sorry, Brits, but you know it’s true). The apartments themselves are what I’d call “understated elegant” – clean lines, those gorgeous Dalmatian stone accents, and thank god, really good air conditioning. The sea views aren’t just some marketing nonsense either; from the higher floors, you’re looking straight out over the Adriatic, and honestly, watching the sunset from your private terrace with a glass of local wine… well, it’s the kind of moment that makes you understand why people fall in love with this coast.

What really sold me on this place – and why I keep recommending it to friends – is all the little details that show someone actually cares. The kitchens are properly equipped (not just a mini-fridge and a prayer), the Wi-Fi actually works everywhere, and the beds are legitimately comfortable, not just firm mattresses masquerading as “European style.” The parking situation is sorted too, which if you’ve ever tried to park in Dubrovnik during summer, you know is basically a miracle. The owner, Ana, seems to genuinely want people to have a good time – she’ll tell you about the little family-run konoba down in Gruž where the locals eat, or how to time your Old Town visits to avoid the worst crowds. It’s that kind of insider knowledge that makes a 9.4 rating actually mean something. Sure, you’re paying 5-star prices, but you’re getting that rare combination of luxury and authenticity that’s almost impossible to find along this stretch of coast anymore.

  We had a truly wonderful stay at this lovely apartment in Dubrovnik. The place was spotlessly clean and had absolutely everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including a fully equipped kitchen which made it easy to prepare meals when we wanted to relax at home.
  
  The highlight for me was without a doubt the breathtaking sea view whether you’re enjoying a morning coffee on the terrace or relaxing in the living room, the view is simply stunning and never gets old.
  
  The apartment is situated in a friendly and peaceful neighbourhood, where we felt very safe throughout our stay. We were also delighted by a few friendly local cats who would pop by in the evening to say hello. Dubrovnik is definitely a must visit destination for cat lovers!
  
  Our host, Marija, was incredibly kind and helpful. She went above and beyond to make sure we had all the information we needed about the apartment and the surrounding area. She even arranged our transport from the airport, which was especially appreciated as we arrived late at night, and organised a late check-out on our departure day to suit our afternoon flights.
  
  The location was ideal just a short walk to the main Lapad beach, with the Old Town easily accessible by bus, which stops just around the corner.
  
  All in all, we had a fantastic experience and wouldn’t hesitate to return in the future. Highly recommended.
  
  What could be improved: Less mobile visitors might struggle to climb the steps when returning from the beach but alternatives like a quick bus ride or Uber are always available.

  My best booking.com find to date! Firstly, the apartment was huge, spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. From a hairdryer to a coffee machine, a washing machine to a drying rack, it's so well equipped that we could have moved in to live there full-time and wouldn't have needed to buy anything.
  Secondly, Marija was a phenomenal host. She provided us with ample information and recommendations and was really quick to respond to any questions we had. When she found out our flight was getting in earlier than the regular check-in time, she went out of her way to ensure the apartment was ready for us, which was above and beyond what we expected. She stored our case for us on the final day and organised taxis to and from the airport. She made our entire experience in Dubrovnik easier to navigate.
  There is a nearby bus stop and the beach is a short walk away. We ended up using Uber to get back and forth from the Old Town because it was usually only 2euro more than the bus. Ubers could easily locate us at the park just in front of the apartment, which was very convenient.
  I would stay here again in a heartbeat!
  
  What could be improved: Honestly, this was perfect for us. There is quite a steep climb from the beach to the apartment, which might make it difficult for older people or those with mobility issues. However, there is always the option to get an Uber, which is quick and convenient.

  The host was so informative and helpful, we felt incredibly welcomed and comfortable. The apartments we stayed in were so beautiful and had a great view. Everything in the apartment was excellent, even down to the little touches like recommendations of restaurants and places to visit. It was really easy to walk down to the beach and to the shops from the apartment, great location!

  The owner was very helpful the whole time providing us with the useful information about the good restaurants in the area and in the city. And generally given us good advices.
  The apartment is very spacious, clean
  and very equipped even with the nice grilling place outside on the balcony. The view from the balcony is beautiful.
  
  What could be improved: Nothing to dislike, maybe the advice not to use steps on the way to apartment from the city. But if you don't mind the steps, you can come very quickly to apartment without using a car. Alternatively you can use public transportation to come easily to apartment.

  What could be improved: Only issue for me is if u have mobility issues it would be a challenge , but then All of Dubrovnik terrain is on built on a mountainous Landscape, having a car is a huge help for anyone accessing any part of Lapad Dubrovnik !!Parking was provided !
