Hotel Description
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw “Luxury Villa” in the name and then noticed it was only 3 stars, I was a bit skeptical. But you know what? Sometimes the star system just doesn’t capture what actually matters, and this place on Ulica Plovani Skalini is proof of that. The moment you step inside, you realize the “luxury” part isn’t about marble lobbies or concierge services – it’s about waking up to views that’ll make you forget to check your phone for the first hour of the day.
The location is honestly perfect if you want to feel like you’re living in Dubrovnik rather than just visiting it. You’re tucked away on this quiet stone street (and I mean proper old stone – the kind that’s been worn smooth by centuries of footsteps), but you’re literally a three-minute walk from Stradun. I actually timed it because I’m weird like that. The thing is, most tourists never venture down these side streets, so you get this authentic neighborhood vibe where you’ll see locals hanging laundry from medieval windows and old men playing chess in tiny squares. The villa itself feels like someone’s actual home that they’ve opened up to travelers – there’s character in every corner, from the thick stone walls that keep everything blissfully cool even in August heat to the wooden shutters that you’ll find yourself opening dramatically every morning because, well, when in Croatia, right?
What really gets me about this place is how the views just sort of sneak up on you. You’ll be making coffee or whatever, and then you glance up and there’s the Adriatic stretching out like someone’s personal infinity pool, with those terracotta rooftops cascading down toward the harbor. I mean, I’ve stayed in 5-star places that charge three times as much and don’t have half the soul this villa has. The rooms are spacious in that old-world way – high ceilings, proper furniture that doesn’t look like it came from a hotel catalog, and windows that actually open (revolutionary concept, I know). Fair warning though: if you’re someone who needs everything to be perfectly modern and shiny, this might not be your vibe. The charm here is in the imperfections – the slightly uneven floors, the way the shower pressure varies depending on the time of day, the fact that you might hear church bells at 6 AM. But honestly? That’s all part of why it works. You’re not in some sterile hotel bubble; you’re in a 600-year-old city that’s very much alive. Plus, parking isn’t the nightmare it is closer to the main gates – there’s actually street parking nearby if you’re brave enough to drive in Croatia, or you can easily walk to the taxi stands when you need to get around. Just don’t expect the owners to be hovering around 24/7 – they’ll sort you out when you arrive and then trust you to be an adult, which I found refreshing.

Thank you would recommend and stay again perfect for a short break here 👌An unforgettable stay in the heart of Dubrovnik — perfect location, amazing host, and everything we – Pedro from Brazil – 30 June 2025 (10/10)
We had a fantastic time at Daniela’s Airbnb in the heart of Dubrovnik’s Old Town. The apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated, and extremely well-equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed — perfect for cooking at home — and the bathroom was modern, clean, and had excellent water pressure. We were also pleasantly surprised to find plenty of towels for both showering and going to the beach!
The air conditioning worked perfectly, which was a blessing after long summer days exploring the city. Everything in the apartment was in top condition, from the furniture to the kitchen accessories.
What made the stay even more special was Daniela herself. She welcomed us warmly, gave us great tips for restaurants and local attractions, and was always available and incredibly helpful throughout our trip.
If you’re looking for a cozy, comfortable, and charming place to stay in Dubrovnik’s Old Town — this is it. Thank you, Daniela, for everything! 🌟Amazing excellent. – Maura from United States – 12 June 2025 (10/10)
Location great. Spacious. Great showers. Loved the loft at the top with great views of old town. Kitchen was great. Washer and dryer available. Very clean. Will stay there again. Felt like a local living right in old town.
