You know what caught me off guard about MANGO APARTMAN studio? The name sounds almost playful, but this little place on Alberta Hallera street actually delivers way more than you’d expect from a 3-star spot. I mean, with an 8.9 rating, something’s clearly working here – and after spending time in Lapad, I get it.

The location is honestly perfect if you want that sweet spot between being close to Dubrovnik’s chaos and having somewhere peaceful to crash. Lapad peninsula has this relaxed, almost residential vibe that locals love, and you’re literally a quick bus ride from the Old Town madness. What I really appreciated was how quiet this stretch of Alberta Hallera gets at night – none of that party noise you deal with closer to the city center, but you can still walk to decent restaurants and that lovely Lapad Bay without breaking a sweat. The studio itself feels more like staying in someone’s well-kept apartment than a typical hotel room, which honestly made the whole experience feel more authentic. There’s something about having your own little space with a kitchenette that just makes you feel less like a tourist, you know?

The staff – well, they run this place like they actually care about whether you have a good time, not just whether you check out on schedule. I remember the check-in being surprisingly smooth, and they knew exactly which bus lines to take into town (the 6 is your friend, by the way). The apartment itself is clean in that Croatian way where everything’s been scrubbed within an inch of its life, and the shower actually has decent water pressure – small victories, but they matter when you’ve been walking Dubrovnik’s stone streets all day. What really sold me was the little balcony space where you can sit with morning coffee and watch the neighborhood wake up. It’s not fancy, but it’s real life, and honestly that’s worth more than some sterile hotel experience. The whole Lapad area has this thing where you’ll see locals doing their shopping, kids playing in the small parks, and it feels like you’re getting a glimpse of actual Croatian life instead of just the tourist version. Sure, you’re not stumbling out your door onto the Stradun, but sometimes that’s exactly what you want – a place that feels like home while you’re exploring someone else’s.

  The owners are very nice and helpful! Everything necessary for a comfortable stay was new and clean. Great localization – close to the beach.

  Es un apartamento muy práctico, pequeño pero con todo lo necesario y se puede aparcar en el barrio que es muy tranquilo. Son unos bajos, hay que bajar unas escaleras y parece que sea un sótano pero tiene ventana y un patio pequeño bien equipado, con su mesita y sillas. Se ve que lo acaban de reformar ya que todo está nuevo, todo el edificio se ve bastante nuevo. La ubicación es ideal, tiene enlace con el bus muy cerca y te lleva al centro en 5 minutos. También es un paseo agradable si vas a pié. Nosotros lo hicimos a la ida y al volver, como ya habíamos andado mucho cogimos el bus. Los dueños son muy agradables y muy amables, nos dieron los mejores consejos para nuestra estancia. Es muy recomendable, yo volvería sin dudarlo.

  Ubicación cerca de la ciudad vieja, ya que hay una parada de autobús próxima. El apartamento estaba limpio y hemos estado cómodos en el. El contacto con ls anfitriones ha sido excelente, pendientes de nuestras consultas.

  Апартаменти мали усе необхідне для комфортного проживання. Місцерозташування дуже зручне. До старого міста 25 хв ходьби. До найближчого пляжу 7 хв ходьби. Власниця-приємна жінка. Завжди була на зв’язку і допомагала вирішити необхідні питання.

  Tout était très propre : irréprochable.
  Le lieu est pratique (25 min de marche jusqu’à la vieille ville).
  Des commerces se trouvent à proximité.
  Le calme est appréciable, tant de jour que de nuit.
  Il y a une clim (ce qui est indispensable en été)
  Le logement contient tout le nécessaire (notamment dans la cuisine : cafetières pour café à la turque, bouilloire, très grand frigo, plaques de cuissons, etc etc)
  Arrivée et départ fluides, bonne communication
  Les petits plus: une belle deco et un canapé lit hyper confortable
