You know what caught me off guard about Moa Casa? It’s tucked away on this quiet residential street – Vatroslava Lisinskog – that most tourists never even find, but it’s honestly one of the best spots to stay in Dubrovnik. I mean, you’re literally a ten-minute walk from the Old Town walls, but without any of that crazy tourist chaos right outside your door.

The place has this boutique feel that’s hard to describe – it’s like staying at a stylish friend’s apartment rather than a typical hotel. The rooms are genuinely spacious (which, trust me, is rare in Dubrovnik), and they’ve got this modern Croatian design thing going on that actually works. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night – you can hear the occasional car, but nothing like the street noise you’d deal with closer to Stradun. The staff genuinely knows the area too, which sounds basic but you’d be surprised how many places just hand you a generic city map. These guys told me about this little bakery around the corner that opens at 6 AM – perfect for grabbing pastries before the crowds hit the city walls.

Here’s the thing about the location that makes it special: you’re in Ploče, which means you can walk to the cable car station in about five minutes if you want those Instagram sunset shots, but you can also wander down to the harbor area without fighting through the main tourist streams. Parking was surprisingly manageable too – they sorted that out for us, which honestly saved our entire trip because driving in Dubrovnik old town is basically impossible. The walk to Pile Gate (the main entrance everyone uses) takes maybe twelve minutes if you’re not rushing, and you’ll pass some actual neighborhood spots where locals grab coffee. I found myself looking forward to that little morning walk, especially in June when everything’s green but not brutally hot yet. The 9.4 rating makes total sense once you’ve stayed there – it’s not trying to be fancy in that over-the-top way, but everything just works smoothly and the attention to detail is obvious.

  Great condition, everything as seen on pictures. Very nice apartment. Highly recommend! Close to beaches, restaurants, short ride to city center.
  
  What could be improved: WiFi was super slow starting from afternoon – was not possible to do anything online. As I understood there is nothing particular owner can do about it.
  Another thing that is not connected to owner, but still. Apartment is like 30 meters from trash place and wind was in right direction we were sitting in patio and smelling all that.

  Such a lovely family ran property! Spotlessly clean and the kitchen is well equipped. The place has nice own patio where u can sit in the evenings. Absolutely fantastic that it has 2 air conditioners adding extra comfort for your stay. The host offered us homemade refreshments on our arrival and gave as a lovely gift as we departed. Beach is 10 min walk away and supermarket/restaurant 2 min walk away.
  
  What could be improved: The place was perfect but they used strong perfumed oils and unfortunately I’m super allergic. Luckily we removed them and it was pleasant after. So not a minus necessarily.
