You know what struck me first about Mokos Modern Suite? The location is actually pretty clever – it’s on Ulica uz Jadransku cestu, which sounds intimidating but is basically just the road that hugs the coastline. You’re far enough from the Old Town chaos to actually get some sleep, but close enough that you can walk to Pile Gate in about 15 minutes if you don’t mind a bit of an uphill trek on the way back.

The “modern suite” part isn’t just marketing speak – they really did nail that sleek, minimalist vibe without making it feel cold or sterile. I mean, the rooms have these floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the Adriatic perfectly, and honestly, I spent way too much time just staring out at the water with my morning coffee. The bathrooms are particularly well done – marble everything, rainfall showers that actually have decent pressure (you’d be surprised how rare that is in Croatian hotels), and heated floors which, trust me, you’ll appreciate if you’re visiting in shoulder season. The kitchenette situation is solid too, with a proper-sized fridge and one of those sleek induction cooktops that make you feel like you’re on a cooking show.

What I really appreciated was the attention to details that matter when you’re actually living somewhere for a few days. The Wi-Fi is fast enough for video calls – crucial if you’re trying to work remotely or need to FaceTime family back home. There’s proper blackout curtains (essential when the sun rises stupid early in summer), and the AC is whisper-quiet. Parking can be a bit of a dance – there’s a garage situation but it’s tight, so if you’re driving one of those massive rental SUVs, maybe reconsider. The staff genuinely knows the area well; they pointed me toward this little bakery about five minutes away that locals actually use, not the tourist traps near the cable car station. The 8.7 rating feels about right – it’s not going to blow your mind, but everything works exactly as it should. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I was planning to spend more time exploring the coast rather than just doing the standard Old Town circuit.

  We stayed in this apartment in Dubrovnik and had a wonderful experience. The place was very new, spacious, and spotlessly clean. It’s located in a great area.The host was extremely kind and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. One big plus was the jacuzzi and secure parking spot in the garage, which gave us peace of mind. Highly recommend this apartment for anyone visiting Dubrovnik.

  Extraordinary accommodation with a beautiful view of the bay. Everything is new and tidy. The terraces are spacious with a magical view of the sea, the bridge that lights up in fascinating colors at night. The service, cleanliness and equipment are at a high level. The right place if you want to rest in Dubrovnik away from the huge crowds and masses of tourists. The staff is helpful and always available.

  The basic facilities do exist like furniture, bathroom needs, hair dryer, iron.
  
  What could be improved: The bedrooms are not equipped with air conditioners or fans. When asked the host, the reply was there are 2 ACs in 70 sq meter and its an apartment.But this response doesn't help. When you sleep, you will sleep in bed. There was zero conditioning inside rooms as there was no AC or flag. The ACs have been given in common areas. The sleep part was, hence , extremely uncomfortable.Givsn the high temperature , scorching sun, and so hot weather, it was highly dissatisfying. It's not worth the money at all.
  
  Second, non-stick utensils aren't provided. It was very difficult to cook mere omelet as it was sticking on utensil provided, so there also we had to settle with whatever less we could make.
  
  Third, there is no umbrella over jacuzzi. The same is installed in the next apartment as in the scorching heat one can open umbrella and only then can enjoy a dip in it with view otherwise it's just useless given the high temperature and sun there.

  Appartement neuf très bien équipé et très confortable. Le jacuzzi est un plus apreciable. Situé un peu à l'écart de Dubrovnik, le centre de la vieille ville est accessible en bus très facilement. Le parking est très cher at Dubrovnik, donc prendre le bus quasi en face de l'appartement est un avantage. Commerces et restos à proximité. Être au calme après une visite à Dubrovnik et profiter d'une belle vue du jacuzzi est un must !

  Vi bestilte først en lejlighed i den gamle bydel, men da min mor er handicappet og i kørestol, kunne vi ikke gå op ad de utallige trapper. Vi besluttede os for denne ejendom, fordi den har en elevator og privat parkering i bygningen. Lejligheden er ny, moderne, har jacuzzi og en utrolig udsigt over den smukke havkyst. Lejligheden har to badeværelser, rummelige terrasser og alt er nyt og moderne. Kun få skridt på tværs af gaden ligger to butikker, hvor du kan købe mad, og en rigtig god restaurant med lækker mad af høj kvalitet. Personalet var meget hjælpsomt, veluddannet og meget venligt. Transport til den gamle bydel med Uber er meget praktisk og tager omkring 8-9 minutter. Perfekt til en ferie.
