The location in Ploče is actually perfect if you know Dubrovnik at all. You’re far enough from the Old Town crowds that you can breathe (literally – those narrow streets get stuffy in summer), but close enough that you can easily walk down when you want to explore. The thing about this street is that it’s residential, so you get that authentic Croatian neighborhood feel without sacrificing convenience.

What really gets me about this place is how they’ve managed to nail that sweet spot between luxury and comfort. The apartment feels genuinely lived-in rather than sterile – there’s thoughtful touches everywhere, like proper Croatian coffee cups (not those tiny hotel ones) and actually decent WiFi that doesn’t cut out when you’re trying to video call home. The view, well… I’ve stayed in plenty of places that promise views and deliver a sliver of water between buildings, but this one actually delivers. You can see the Adriatic stretching out, and depending on which room you’re in, you catch glimpses of the Old Town walls too. The best time is honestly around sunset when the light hits the water – I found myself just standing there with my morning coffee way longer than planned. The apartment itself is spacious in a way that’s rare for European city stays, and everything works properly, which sounds basic but you’d be surprised how often that’s not the case.

The whole experience just feels… effortless, I guess? Check-in was smooth, the host clearly knows what they’re doing, and there’s parking nearby (trust me, this matters in Dubrovnik – I’ve seen people circle for ages looking for a spot). Even small things like having actual hangers in the closet and decent water pressure in the shower show that someone thought about what travelers actually need. It’s the kind of place where you can picture yourself settling in for a few days or even a week, not just crashing between sightseeing marathons. The 9.9 rating makes sense when you experience it – it’s not trying to be the flashiest place in town, but it delivers on everything that actually matters for a great stay. If you’re someone who appreciates quality over gimmicks and wants to feel like you’re staying somewhere special without the tourist trap vibe, this apartment gets it right.

  The view is outstanding! The apartment is beautiful, very comfortable, clean and feels bigger than the pictures suggest. There is a full kitchen that we didn't take advantage of since there are so many great restaurants in Dubrovnik. The beds/pillows were very comfortable and we all slept well. We got in early and our host Mara greeted us at the door which we appreciated. The apartment came with beach towels which was a plus. We also appreciated the apartment came with a washer and drier. I would stay here again .
  
  What could be improved: This was not an issue for us (except when it rained one night) but there are lots of stairs getting back and forth from the city.

  The location is about a 10-minute walk to the old town. The view from the spot is excellent, offering a great vantage point. It's a perfect place to spend the entire day, enjoying both relaxation and the beautiful scenery.
  It's a fantastic place to stay, with fully equipped amenities. It's perfect for staying in all day without ever needing to go out, and you'll still have a great time.
  
  What could be improved: Everything is perfect, but it comes with a corresponding price. It's a place worth staying at.

  房间设施都很好，位置便利，可以俯看整個古城景觀，由於入住前朋友發生丟失行李，朋友針藥都在里面，房東一直幫我們打電話預約醫生，一直询问朋友情况，非常热情，已经推荐朋友来古城一定要订次房屋！期待下一次的旅行🥰
