Okay, so I’ll be honest – when I first saw “New Deluxe jacuzzi apartment Ana” in the booking confirmation, I was a bit skeptical. The name sounds like it was translated through Google a few times, you know? But actually stepping into this place on Ulica Natka Nodila completely changed my mind. It’s tucked away in this quiet residential area that most tourists never find, maybe a 12-minute walk from the main drag of Stradun, and that’s exactly what makes it special.

The apartment itself is… well, it’s actually really thoughtfully done. The jacuzzi isn’t just some afterthought crammed into a corner – it’s properly integrated into this modern bathroom setup that somehow doesn’t feel out of place in an old Dubrovnik building. Ana (the owner, I assume) has this knack for details that matter. Like, there’s proper blackout curtains because she knows you’ll want to sleep in after walking those city walls, and the kitchen is stocked with decent coffee – not the instant stuff you get in most vacation rentals. The Wi-Fi actually works throughout the whole place, which honestly surprised me given how thick these old walls are.

What really got me was the location, though. You’re on this street that locals actually live on, so you’ll hear kids playing in the morning and smell someone’s grandmother making lunch around noon. It’s real life, not the tourist bubble. There’s a small konoba (that’s like a family tavern) literally two doors down that doesn’t even have a sign – just ask Ana about it. The walk into Old Town takes you through some residential areas where you can peek into local life, and coming back at night, you escape all the cruise ship crowds pretty quickly. Parking is… well, it’s Dubrovnik, so parking is complicated everywhere, but Ana sorted us out with a spot that didn’t cost a fortune. Check-in was smooth – she met us right at the apartment and gave us actual useful tips about avoiding the tourist traps, not just the generic “visit the walls” advice. The place gets that 9.8 rating because it delivers on being a proper home base rather than just somewhere to crash. I mean, after a day of fighting crowds at Pile Gate, coming back to soak in that jacuzzi while looking out at normal Croatian life happening below – that’s the kind of travel moment you remember.

  We really enjoyed our stay here. Ana, has thought of every detail to make us comfortable. It was so clean and the furnishings were quite tasteful. The location was great because it was within walking distance of Old Town (15 min) and far enough to have some peace and quiet. It was so convenient to have the grocery store across the street. Ana was also very quick to respond to our texts and gave excellent tips.
  
  What could be improved: Although it does have air conditioning, the only thing I would change is to put a fan in each room. We had our own and were comfortable with the fan running.

  The apartment was clean, comfortable and Ana was a great host, checking that we had everything we needed. There were
  plenty of towels and all the equipment we needed to cook for ourselves. The beds were clean and comfortable.

  Ana's place is very beautiful, cosy and clean with really well equipped kitchen. It is quite close to the Old Town Dubrovnik, in a walking distance of 15 min. There is a large supermarket nearby which is very handy for shopping.

  Bardzo fajny apartament, dobra lokalizacja blisko do plaży i na starówkę, po drugiej stronie ulicy supermarket. Bardzo sympatyczna właścicielka, na powitanie czekały na Nas w lodówce zimne napoje 🙂
