Old Town centar, cozy and quiet modern apartment
You know what?
You know what? I almost walked right past this place on Puzljiva ulica – it’s tucked away on this narrow cobblestone street that honestly feels like you’re stepping back in time. The thing is, that’s exactly what makes it perfect. While everyone else is fighting for space on the main drag, you’re literally thirty seconds from all the action but in this surprisingly quiet pocket of Old Town that most tourists never even notice.
The apartment itself is… well, it’s one of those places that just gets it right. Modern without being sterile, you know? The owner clearly put thought into the details – good lighting (which is rarer than you’d think in these old stone buildings), a kitchen that actually works if you want to grab groceries from the market near Pile Gate, and honestly the most comfortable bed I’ve had in Croatia. The air conditioning is a lifesaver during summer months, and I mean it gets HOT in Dubrovnik in July. What really impressed me though was how quiet it stays at night. You’d expect noise in Old Town, but this little street seems to miss most of the late-night revelry that echoes through the main squares.
Here’s what you need to know about the location – it’s about a three-minute walk to the Stradun, maybe five to the city walls if you’re dragging luggage. The tricky part is actually finding it the first time (GPS gets confused in these narrow streets), but once you do, you’ll realize you’re perfectly positioned. There’s a little konoba around the corner that locals actually eat at, not just tourists, and you can hit the morning market without dealing with the cruise ship crowds that flood in around 10 AM. Parking is… well, forget about parking nearby. You’ll want to use one of the lots outside the walls, but that’s true for anywhere in Old Town. The walk with bags isn’t too bad, and honestly, once you’re settled in, you won’t need a car anyway. I’d definitely stay here again – it’s got that sweet spot combination of being genuinely comfortable while still feeling like you’re living in medieval Dubrovnik, not just visiting it.

What Our Guests Say
Nice to be met by family member to be shown location of accommodation which was clean, comfy and welcoming with gifts bread, milk, juice, fruit and biscuits! Felt like they went above and beyond
What could be improved: Unfortunately the washing machine was broken during our stay
No breakfast, we went out.
The location couldn't be better but we were not prepared for the number of steps in Dubrovnik!
Ilja, who met us, was very kind, prompt and good at telling us about the property and the town.
What could be improved: My room at the bottom of the house had a window right next to the front door of the adjoining property. At night, people inside were talking a long time and kept me awake! I realise this is not something you can control but something to note.
The personal treatment is fantastic. The house is centrally located and very well situated. You have everything you need to enjoy a few days in Dubrovnik.
Location!
Perfect location in the old city. Clean, tidy presentation. Food and drinks ready for our arrival to get us started. Personal greeting and showing us the flat was a welcome addition after a long travel day. Air con was blissful. :)
What could be improved: Not a problem, just a note that the property is split over three levels with steep steps so those with mobility issues or young children need to be mindful.
The apartment is in a great central location. It is clean and comfortable but you should be aware that there is a set of steep steps leading up to the apartment that could be an issue for elderly guests.
The apartment had everything we needed for a family of four. We appreciated being met and taken to the property, and loved the treats that were left for us.
V comfortable, great location.
Lovely to fruit, milk, biscuits etc included.
