You know what caught me off guard about the Olive Harmony Suite? I was expecting another cramped Dubrovnik rental, but this place actually has breathing room. It’s tucked away on Ulica branitelja Dubrovnika – and honestly, that’s one of those streets that sounds intimidating but it’s just a quiet residential road about a 12-minute walk from the Old Town walls. The “prizemlje” part means ground floor, which I was initially skeptical about (noise, you know?), but it turned out to be perfect since you’re not hauling luggage up ancient stone steps.
The suite itself feels like someone’s stylish apartment rather than a hotel room. There’s this lovely olive-green color scheme that actually works – not the garish green you’d expect from the name, but these muted, sophisticated tones that somehow make the space feel bigger. The kitchen is properly equipped too, which matters more than you’d think when you’re paying Dubrovnik restaurant prices. I mean, a simple breakfast can cost you 15 euros in the Old Town, so having a decent coffee machine and fridge space is genuinely useful. The bed was one of those firm European mattresses that takes a night to get used to, but then you sleep like a rock. And the shower – well, let’s just say it’s worlds better than what you’ll find in most of the stone houses within the city walls.
What really sold me on this place was the little details that show someone actually thought about what travelers need. There’s proper blackout curtains (crucial if you’re jet-lagged), decent wifi that doesn’t cut out every ten minutes, and – this might sound weird – but really good lighting for getting ready. The location is honestly ideal if you want to experience Dubrovnik without being in the thick of the cruise ship chaos. You’re close enough to walk to Stradun in about ten minutes, but far enough away that you won’t hear drunk tourists singing at 2 AM. Plus, there’s a decent grocery store practically next door, and you’re right near the bus routes if you want to explore the beaches south of the city.
The 9.3 rating makes total sense once you’ve stayed here – it’s not trying to be fancy, but everything just works properly. The check-in was smooth, the space is clean and comfortable, and you get that rare feeling in Dubrovnik of actually having value for your money. I’d definitely book it again, especially during shoulder season when you can really appreciate having a peaceful base to return to after battling the crowds on the city walls.

Great location! Very convenient location, bed was comfortable and it had all the amenities we needed.
What could be improved: There’s not a huge amount of naturally light, but we just went to the beach.
Perfect stay in Dubrovnik. The location is perfect, super easy to arrive and very close to the old told, perfect to explore and come back to the accommodation without much hassle. The apartment was very clean, the bed is big and extremely comfortable. There is a TV to watch Netflix or other stream services. The shower has the perfect pressure and I would come back here when I next visit Dubrovnik. Thank you!

The spotless, beautifully furnished room, cozy bed, and perfect location just 5 minutes from the Old Town make B&B Olive Harmony Suite a must-stay in Dubrovnik—highly recommended!
Exceptional Olive Harmony is really nice and cozy place. There is well equipped small kitchen with oven and coffee machine.
Bathroom is new, stylish and perfectly clean as the rest of the apartment.
Bed was very comfortable with high quality mattress.
It really has everything for short or even a longer stay.

What could be improved: Apartment is located on the ground floor near main road, so it might be littlebit noisy.

What could be improved: Only really tiny things, such as maybe adding a hook in the bathroom for towels/clothes whilst in the shower to keep them off the floor, maybe provide a bath mat to stop water coming round a bit in front of the toilet, but overall an excellent place with a very helpful host!
At this price point you can’t beat the size, location to Old Town, and cleanliness! The suite was very clean and the host was very responsive. The overall size of the suite was comfortable.
What could be improved: It is extremely close to the road and traffic. The noise was not bothersome; it was challenging to get luggage in and out of the suite. The bed was hard.
Perfect Location close to Old Town The spot was in a perfect location, very close to the old town. I loved the historic vibes of the place. Could not have asked for more!
What could be improved: When it rained I think there may have been an issue with the drainage, as the floor got flooded with a quarter inch of water on it. When you come in dry season this shouldn't be an issue but just wanted to mention it.
Exceptional Excellent location, very easy to get to and the directions on the keys were very clear. The place is just like the photos, everything is impeccable, very clean and smells very nice.
WiFi was very good too.
They also let us leave our bags after check out.
