You know what struck me first about Sarah’s place? The name doesn’t lie – you actually wake up to proper sea views, not some sliver of blue between buildings like half the “sea view” places in Dubrovnik. The apartment sits on Frana Supila street, which honestly took me a minute to find the first time (it’s one of those streets that feels residential but surprise – you’re basically in Ploče, walking distance to everything that matters).
The location is sort of brilliant once you get your bearings. I mean, you’re close enough to the Old Town that you can stumble back after dinner without planning your route, but far enough out that you’re not dealing with cruise ship crowds outside your window at 7 AM. There’s this little bakery about two blocks down that locals actually use – I grabbed coffee there most mornings and started recognizing the same faces. The apartment itself feels lived-in rather than sterile, which I appreciate. Sarah’s clearly put thought into the details without going overboard – good shower pressure (crucial after those stone steps everywhere), decent Wi-Fi, and the kind of kitchen setup where you can actually cook if you want to skip restaurants for a night.
What really won me over was how the place handles the whole Dubrovnik experience. Look, the city’s gorgeous but it can be overwhelming, especially in summer when it feels like half of Europe is squeezing through Pile Gate. Coming back to this apartment felt like retreating to a friend’s place rather than just another hotel room. The sea view from the main room changes throughout the day – morning light hits it differently than evening, and you can actually see the ferry traffic heading to the islands. Parking was easier than expected too, though I’d still recommend asking Sarah about the best spots before you arrive. The 8.2 rating feels about right – it’s not luxury level, but it’s the kind of place where everything works and you feel comfortable immediately. If you’re the type who wants to experience Dubrovnik without feeling like you’re stuck in a tourist bubble, this hits that sweet spot between authentic and convenient.

The view, having 2 bedrooms, a washing machine, proximity to the old town and the beach. They agreed to let us stay a bit longer to accommodate our departing flight, very appreciated.
What could be improved: A bit of mold in the shower, the patio door needs to be fixed, very hard to open, the covering wood on the balcony ramp is broken. Big, spacious apartment. Stunning views from balcony. Enjoyed the artwork on the walls. A decent walk into the old town but very manageable.
What could be improved: Little more info on check in procedure would be good.
Some info re wifi code, how to use facilities in apartment would be helpful.

Loved the location and two separate rooms. It was great to have very strong air conditioning and fans in both rooms.
What could be improved: The parking difficulties made it tough to plan. We had two guests who have very sensitive skin, the couches, floors and shower were not clean. Puiki lokacija. Iki senamiesčio pėščiomis apie 10 minučių. Šalia yra 3 puikūs pliažai. Mums asmeniškai labiausiai patiko tas ,kuris arčiausiai buvo,jis toks laukinis,mažai žmonių, uolos,ant kurių patogų gulėti net be rankšluoščio,yra 3 nusileidimo į jūrą laiptai,beto galima šokinėti iš labai aukštų uolų į jūrą. Tiems,kurie nemoka plaukti,nelabai bus patogu,nes nėra kranto įeiti į jurą. Reikia įveikti 137 laiptus žemyn iki pliažo. Yra pavėsis. Super.
Kitas pliažas Banje apie 500 metrų nuo apartamentų,eiti labai patogų,laiptų žymiai mažiau. Smėlis,galima vandens batų neturėti. Pliaže yra restoranų,barų,galima nuomotis banglentes (20 eu/1 valanda vienam asmeniui), valtis,laivus. Gultai ir skėčiai mokami, kosminės kainos. Skėtis -10 eu, gultas -25 eu.
Trečias pliažas St.Jokubo,apie 950 metrų, taip pat yra laiptų, apie 130 laiptų, patariama turėti vandens batus. Skėtis -15eu, gultas -25eu. Geri restoranai ir barai.
Apartamentuose yra mažas balkonas su dviem gultais iš kurio atsiveria puikus vaizdas. Yra skalbimo ir indų plovimo mašinos. Kondicionierius tik didžiajame kambaryje. Kituose dvejuose kambariuose du ventiliatoriai,kurie labai trukdė miegoti,nes garsiai urzgė. Patogios lovos. 3 aukštas. Lifto nėra. Bekontaktė registracija.
Virtuvėje pilna indų,stiklinių, yra skruzdintuvė (tosteriams gaminti), mikrobangė.
What could be improved: Nelabai švari virtuvė, virtuvėje buvo palikti miltai,ir pusė pakelio makaronų,kuriuose buvo labai daug kirmėlių. Šeimininkams retkarčiais reikėtų peržiūrėti,ką palieka žmonės. Buvo labai nemalonų,net nesinorėjo naudotis viskuo. Rankšluoščiai jau labai pasenę,kai kurie buvo dėmėti. Tik viena keptuvė ir vienas puodas,šiek tiek mažai.

Appartement très bien situé, à 10 minutes à pieds du centre historique et sans marche! Très propre et très bien équipé. La vue est magnifique depuis le balcon. Situé à mi-chemin entre la plage Sveti et le centre de Dubrovnik. Petites épiceries à côté.
