You know what struck me first about Sea View Studio by Dominium? It’s tucked away on this quiet stretch of Ulica Gorica Svetog Vlaha in Lapad, and honestly, that’s half the charm right there. I mean, you’re close enough to hear the Adriatic lapping against the shore, but you’re not dealing with the cruise ship crowds that swarm the Old Town every morning. The studio itself is pretty straightforward – clean, functional, with that crisp white Mediterranean vibe that works so well in Croatian coastal places. Nothing fancy, but the sea view they promise? Yeah, it’s actually there, and it’s the kind of blue that makes you understand why people write poetry about the Mediterranean.

The Lapad Peninsula location is honestly perfect if you’re planning to stay more than a couple nights. There’s this lovely promenade walk that locals use for their evening strolls – you’ll see families with kids on bikes and older couples sharing gelato from that little place near the hotel. The beach is literally a five-minute walk downhill, and while it’s pebbly (bring water shoes, trust me), the water is incredibly clear. What I really appreciated was how easy it was to catch the bus into Dubrovnik’s Old Town when you want that full medieval experience, but then retreat back to Lapad when the day-trippers get overwhelming. The bus stop is right there, and the ride takes maybe fifteen minutes on a good day.

I’ll be straight with you – this isn’t luxury accommodation, and the 7.5 rating feels about right. The room had everything I needed: decent Wi-Fi, a small kitchenette that actually worked, and air conditioning that didn’t sound like a freight train. The shower was hot and had good pressure, which honestly matters more than marble countertops when you’ve been walking cobblestones all day. Check-in was smooth, and the staff seemed genuinely helpful rather than just going through the motions. The whole area gets pretty quiet after dinner time, which was perfect for sleeping with the windows open to catch that sea breeze. If you’re looking for a base to explore Dubrovnik without paying Old Town prices or dealing with constant noise, this little studio delivers exactly what it promises – nothing more, nothing less, and sometimes that’s exactly what you need.

  Everything was good and the view was spectacular although not in front of the sea directly since there are some houses in the front.. but still a very nice view!! Also very close to Bellevue beach.. one of the most beautiful beaches of Dubrovnik

  Very clean and nice apartment. Walking distance to the beach and really nice view from the balcony. A little shop nearby. Most importantly great managing, we asked for some beach towels and little later check out and there was no problem with it. They also reply very fast to messages!

  Dzień dobry,
  W pokoju brakuje grzejnika elektrycznego np. w łazience , aby można było w dni chłodne wysuszyć ubrania, które w czasie deszczowej pogody niestety zmokły.
  Warto by również umieścić spis wraz z lokalizacją sprzętów jakie znajdują się w lokalu jak również umiejscowienie zaworów i skrzynki bezpieczników. Trudno było tą skrzynkę odszukać.
  Warto również aby właściciel dokonał serwisu sprzętów , np. regulacja drzwi balkonowych, sklejenie skrzynki mechanizmu rolety, naprawa szuflady w łazience, uzupełnienie żarówek, regulacja i ustawienie drzwiczek w dolnych szafkach kuchni.
  Oczywiście te wszystkie usterki nie zakłócają pobytu , ale mogą spowodować pogorszenie się stanu i w efekcie zniszczenie i konieczność wymiany na nowe.
  Warto również umieścić w pokoju informację nie tylko w języku angielskim, ale i w innych, np. polskim, czeskim….
  Mała ilość naczyń stołowych.
  
  What could be improved: Czystość,, bardzo wygodne łóżko, dobra jakość TV ( po zwiększeniu powierzchni anteny). Dobrze działająca klimatyzacja, bojler z ciepłą wodą. Faj nie że była pralka. Funkcjonalny zestaw mebli. Dobre rozmieszczenie gniazd elektrycznych.
  Ładny widok na morze, spokojna okolica, bliskość do sklepu spożywczego.

  La camera aveva tutto il necessario per le quattro notti che abbiamo passato lì. La vista sul mare è carina e piacevole. Il proprietario ha sempre risposto ai messaggi su Booking
  
  What could be improved: In termini di pulizia si può fare di meglio.
  Stando vicino a un parco bisogna fare più attenzione ad animali come le formiche, che abbiamo trovato dal lato dell’entrata (lontano dal letto e non tantissime per fortuna).
  La tapparella era rotta e non si poteva quindi abbassare.

  Está ubicado en un sitio tranquilo, alejado del centro de Dubrovnik, pero con conexión de autobús. Tiene unas vistas preciosas al mar y la playa Bellevue muy cerca caminando. Además está completamente equipado. Por último, muy importante, se puede aparcar gratis en la calle en esta zona, algo fundamental si llevas coche.
  
  What could be improved: No tiene cocina (fuegos/placa de inducción). Pero para nosotros no fue un problema.

  – anfänglicher sehr hilfsbereiter Service der Unterkunft, weil das Verschließen der Tür nicht möglich war
