Very good 1) Great location: 7-10 min from Old City, near bus stop.
2) Correlation between price and quality: for the same price in Old City you will get room with shared(!) bathroom, and here you have whole apartments for the same money and very close to the old city.
3) You have a small balcony with the view to the garden.
4) Free luggage storage in the Amico tours in the Old City and on the reception.
5) You have almost everything you need for comfortable stay: Kitchen with all equipment, shower, big bed, all the necessary little things, for example: iron, clothes dryer, hair dryer, even umbrellas.
6) It was really clean when we arrived.
7) The staff tries to help as possible: we asked is it possible to check in earlier and we got message as soon as apartments were ready.
What could be improved: 1) The place is mosquito paradise, there should be mosquito nets on all windows and on the doors and even on the small window in the toilet, which is permanently opened, because it is really uncomfortable when you are bitten by the mosquitos all the time during your stay in the apartment.
2) On the glass doors to the kitchen wall cabinet for dishes should be silicon protection, because they are from the glass if you forget to close them you can get hurt badly. I got hurt once during stay and my mother got hurt so badly, she thought she had bleeding,but fortunately there was no bleeding.
3) Toilet is so small, me with the heigh 1 m 63 cm it was almost impossible to close doors.
4) Shower and toilet in the immediate vicinity from the kitchen and dining table and only separated with plastic walls, so from my opinion it will be uncomfortable to go to the toilet or take a shower when someone cooking or eating.
5) "Breaking deposit" organised in very very wrong way: 1) there is no information about this deposit on booking.com; 2) you must to pay via the link you get via email according to demand you get via Watsapp messaging (it is definitely demand not the kind ask, because in the case of not making payment you will not get the code from the key box) and booking.com is clearly reccomend not to make any payments accept via booking site and not to communicate with apartment owners or staff via other messengers accept the booking com site/app. 3) If you are charging "breaking deposit" it should be authorised person during the check-in and during check-out with whom me as a client will check all the possible damages. For example if after check out of previous client you missed some damage but noticed it after my check out how I can prove that this damage was already when I checked in.

It’s actually a solid 3-star spot tucked on Branitelja Dubrovnika, which honestly works out perfectly because you’re close enough to the Old Town action without being right in the tourist chaos. When I first walked up, I’ll admit I was a bit skeptical – the building’s got that post-war Yugoslav architecture thing going on, nothing too flashy from the outside. But you know what? Sometimes that’s exactly what you want in Dubrovnik where half the “charming” places are tourist traps charging premium prices for Instagram-worthy facades.
The thing about Studio Amy is that it gets the basics really right, and in a city where accommodation can easily drain your budget, that matters. The rooms are clean and functional – think modern fixtures, decent Wi-Fi (which actually works, unlike some places I’ve stayed), and air conditioning that doesn’t sound like a jet engine. The staff genuinely seems to care about helping you figure out the city, not just processing your check-in. They’ll tell you stuff like how to catch the early morning bus to avoid the cruise ship crowds, or which konoba down the street serves the best pašticada without the tourist markup. There’s this whole practical knowledge thing happening that you don’t get at the bigger hotels.
Location-wise, you’re about a 10-minute walk to Pile Gate, which means you can stumble back from the Old Town bars without breaking the bank on taxis, but you’re not dealing with the street noise and crowds that come with staying right in the thick of it. The neighborhood itself is pretty quiet – mostly locals living their actual lives, a few cafes where you can grab real coffee (not the overpriced stuff near the walls), and honestly, it feels more authentic than staying inside the UNESCO bubble. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle if you’re driving, but then again, that’s Dubrovnik for you – the whole city’s basically medieval streets trying to handle modern life. I’d say for the 8.3 rating it’s got, that’s pretty much spot on. It’s not going to blow your mind, but it’s going to let you enjoy Dubrovnik without the accommodation being a source of stress or budget panic, which – let’s be real – is exactly what most of us actually need when we’re trying to explore one of the most beautiful cities on the Adriatic.

I stayed 6days...that's not too much money..that's annoyed keep texting me to pay...before i arrived...i think that i get message over than 5times....
We are seriously disgusted, we definitely do not recomend this place to anyone. What could be improved: It was difficult to reach the place because the location in Google maps it is not correct. It would be much easier if you add a photo of the church in your Guide or you send the address instead of a localization.
The apartment was not as clean as a host would desires. There were dust and fluff all around the bed, on the floor, remains of crumbs on the table of the microwave and insects dead on the floor, windows and walls.
The outside tree has aphip and it has invaded half of the balcony. We have had to remove it to have enough space to sit down outside.
When we arrived a window was open so the apartment was completely full of mosquitoes. If you prefer to leave windows open, at least you could provide some product for the mosquitoes.
Since we arrived, we haven't got wifi. Even you sit next to the router, it is so slow, that you can't send a WhatsApp. The router doesn't work properly.
And the worst of all, there are rats jumping on the tree of the balcony over our heads!!!! We have seen them many times. When I informed you by WhatsApp, the answer was: omg This is a really serious issue and it could be a health problem for us and all the people around.
We complained in person and by email but anyone answers.

Lovely apartment - excellent location Very clean and looks as shown in photos. Location is excellent - less than 10min walk to the old town, less than 5min walk to lovely small pebbley beach/swim area. We also walked to bus station (30mins). Couple of supermarkets close by (less than 10mins). Nice private terrace with table and chairs.
What could be improved: Shower only has enough hot water for 2 quick showers - you have to give the boiler up to 30mins between if you want a longer shower. (This was detailed in manual so we were prepared!)
