You know what struck me first about Studio apartman Ana? It’s tucked away on this quiet residential street – Ulica Frana Supila – that most tourists never find, but honestly, that’s exactly what makes it perfect. I mean, you’re still in Ploce, so you can walk to the old town walls in maybe fifteen minutes, but you’re not dealing with the cruise ship crowds stumbling past your window at all hours.

Ana (yeah, that’s actually the owner’s name) has this place dialed in just right. The studio itself feels more like staying at a friend’s apartment than some sterile hotel room – there’s actual personality here. The kitchen setup is surprisingly functional too, not one of those fake kitchenettes where you can barely boil water. I actually cooked breakfast a couple mornings because the local market on Gundulićeva is just a short walk away, and honestly, Croatian tomatoes in summer are incredible. The whole place stays cool even during those brutal July afternoons when Dubrovnik turns into an oven, which… trust me, that matters more than you’d think. The 9.7 rating makes total sense once you’re there – it’s those little details that add up, like how the shower pressure is actually decent (rare in these old Croatian buildings) and the wifi works everywhere, not just if you’re sitting in one magic corner.

What really sold me on this spot though is the neighborhood vibe. Ploce has this lived-in feeling that the tourist areas completely lack – you’ll hear neighbors chatting on their balconies in the evening, kids playing in the small parks nearby. There’s this little café about two blocks down where the locals hang out, and I’m pretty sure I was the only tourist who ever wandered in there. The walk to the old town is pleasant too, not like some places where you’re hiking uphill with your luggage. And here’s something nobody tells you – parking in Dubrovnik is absolutely brutal, but Ana actually sorted that out for me without any drama. During peak season (July-August), you’ll want to book this place way ahead because word gets around about the good spots, and this is definitely one of them. I stayed in October and it was perfect – warm enough for the beach but not so crowded you can’t move, plus Ana mentioned that’s when she has more time to give recommendations that actually matter.

  The location was in a lovely residential neighborhood with amazing views of the Adriatic Sea. The pictures do not do this property justice. It is so much nicer and roomier in person than the appearance in the pictures. Maja is a fantastic host and was highly communicative, even before we arrived. She also provided us with great local information about places to see and things to do. The process was seamless from beginning to end and we truly could not ask for more. Highly recommend!

  Tiszta, rendezett, igényes szállás szép kilátással. Kisbolt 5 perc, strand 6-7 perc gyalog.Taxik az épület alatt állnak meg, de ha épp nincs ott senki akkor is 1-2 percen belül talál egyet az ember. Tökéletes hely, ha fel akarod fedezni Dubrovnikot! 3 napot voltunk, visszamennénk! 😊 Ajánlom mindenkinek!
