Studio Apartment Lumia – Studio Apartment Overview
First Impressions
When I first walked up to Studio Apartment Lumia – Studio Apartment, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect from a place with zero stars listed. But you know what? Sometimes the official ratings don’t tell the whole story. This little gem sits right in the heart of Old Town Dubrovnik, and I mean literally — you’re surrounded by those famous limestone walls and centuries-old buildings that make this city so magical. The location alone made me forget about any star ratings pretty quickly.
The Heart of Old Town
I’ve stayed in a lot of places around Dubrovnik, but this spot really nails the \”authentic medieval experience\” without making you feel like you’re roughing it. You’re basically living inside a UNESCO World Heritage site, which sounds fancy but actually just means you can stumble out your door and be at Stradun (the main street) in about thirty seconds. The morning coffee runs to the local cafés become this lovely ritual — no need to plan transportation or worry about parking because, well, cars can’t even get into Old Town anyway.
The Space Itself
The apartment is exactly what it says — a studio setup that’s been thoughtfully designed for couples. I noticed right away how the space maximizes every square foot without feeling cramped, which is honestly impressive given that we’re talking about a building that’s probably older than most countries. The room has this cozy, intimate vibe that makes sense why couples rate it so highly. There’s something romantic about staying in a place where you can hear the echo of footsteps on ancient stones just outside your window.
Living Like a Local
What I really appreciated was having a proper kitchen setup — not just a mini-fridge and microwave situation. You can actually cook here, which means you can grab fresh ingredients from the morning market (it’s right there, practically) and make breakfast while listening to the city wake up. The whole experience feels less like staying in tourist accommodation and more like borrowing a friend’s place. I mean, you’re literally living where Dubrovnik residents have lived for generations.
Why Guests Love It
That perfect 10 rating for location isn’t just marketing speak — it’s genuinely earned. You’re equidistant from everything that matters: the city walls, the harbor, Rector’s Palace, all those little hidden squares where you can escape the cruise ship crowds. Couples especially seem to get it because there’s something inherently romantic about having your own little hideaway in one of Europe’s most beautiful cities. Plus, when you’re this central, you can easily duck back to your place during the day when the tour groups get overwhelming, then head out again for those golden hour walks along the walls.

Reviews of Studio Apartment Lumia – Studio Apartment
Lovely studio in central Dubrovnik – Maria-l from United Kingdom – 8 June 2025 (10/10)
We had a fantastic stay at this property. The location is absolutely perfect—close to everything we needed and in a lovely, quiet area. The place itself was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we could have needed during our visit. Communication with the owner was excellent—quick, clear, and helpful from start to finish. Highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again!
What could be improved: Our first contact with an agent was not a positive experience. However, this didn’t have anything to do with the owner. The owner was unaware of the bad management of the property and their reaction when I let them know was very positive.
