Studio Apartment Lumia

You know what?

You know what? I’ve walked past Studio Apartment Lumia on Naljeskoviceva ulica probably a dozen times before I actually stayed there, and honestly, it’s one of those places that doesn’t scream “look at me” from the outside – which is actually perfect for Old Town Dubrovnik. The building fits right into that maze of ancient stone streets, and once you’re inside, you realize that’s exactly the point. The studio itself is compact but thoughtfully laid out, with this clever use of space that makes you think someone who actually lives in small apartments designed it, not some corporate hotel chain.

What really gets me about this place is the location – I mean, you’re literally in the heart of everything but somehow tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with the cruise ship crowds stumbling past your window at 2 AM. The street is narrow (like most in Old Town), so don’t expect to drive right up to the door, but there’s something charming about wheeling your suitcase over those polished limestone stones. The apartment has this modern-meets-medieval thing going on that could easily feel gimmicky, but it works because the bones of the building are so authentic. You’ll hear the city waking up in the morning – not in an annoying way, more like… well, like you’re part of something that’s been happening for centuries.

The 9.3 rating makes total sense once you spend a night here. It’s those little details that add up: the shower actually has good water pressure (trust me, this isn’t a given in Old Town), the kitchenette is stocked with basics so you can grab fresh bread from the bakery around the corner, and the Wi-Fi doesn’t mysteriously disappear every time more than two people try to use it. Plus, the host seems to actually know Dubrovnik – not just the tourist spots, but like, where to get your laundry done or which konoba serves the best black risotto without charging tourist prices. I stayed here in late September, which is honestly the perfect time because the summer madness has died down but everything’s still open, and having a quiet base to retreat to after wandering the walls or exploring Lokrum Island made all the difference. It’s not fancy in that five-star hotel way, but it’s exactly what you want when you’re trying to experience Dubrovnik like someone who might actually live here, even if it’s just for a few days.

Perfect Very friendly and helpful. Central location.
Not many stairs and close to drop off location.
Lots of restaurants at doorsteps. All we required.
Highly recommend.

A wonderful stay at the heart of the old town The apartment is located quite centrally in the old town. It was clean, neat and spacious. I quite like the shower because it was very spacious with high water pressure. Petra was very helpful when handing over the keys and provided quite good restaurant recommendations. It was perfect for my stay in the Dubrovnik

What could be improved: Since it’s located in the centre if you open the windows for fresh air it can get quite loud. However when the windows are closed you don’t hear much of the noise and it definitely doesn’t bother your sleep.

Very nice stay in Dubrovnik! Beautiful, comfy and clean room at a perfect location in the heart of dubrovniks old town. Petra has taken care of us on our vacation in dubrovnik. She is very friendly, has shown us great restaurants and we could ask her anytime if we needed something.

The experience was absolutely delightful and we highly recommend the place, especially if you're planning to stay fo This place is in a great spot and super easy to get to. You won't have to go far to find all the stuff you need. And let me tell you, our host was amazing! She went out of her way to make sure we were happy and comfy. She was so friendly and gave us some awesome ideas for things to do during our stay.

What could be improved: location of this place is right in the middle of all the commotion. That also means it can get pretty noisy at night and in the morning. It's a popular spot for tourists, after all.

The hot water tank is pretty small. So, if you're a couple and want to take separate showers, you might run out of hot water. Just a heads up.

Loved it 🙃 The apartment is super-cute, cosy and clean. The location is great, only a few steps from Stradun and the crowd, but the street is quiet, so you can still get a goodnight sleep after being around all day. The hosts are very pleasant, offered us modified check-in/check-out times to meet our flight-schedule. Would love to stay here again

Great apartment in the heart of Dubrovnik Really well situated in the heart of the old town. everything you needed in an apartment. beautifully clean

What could be improved: As it’s in the centre a little noisy until about midnight when the restaurants close as you’d expect in a city centre flat

Superb The apartment has nice size and facilities. The location in the center is quite good and the host was really nice.

What could be improved: Nothing. I saw some reviews talking negatively about noise, as some bars are behind the window; we were there out of high season and we didn’t heard any noise.
